I stop eating potato chips for 3 years. I was used to eating it everyday. I know it is not good for health, so I gave it up. Unfortunately, my dad falls in love with it recently. One day, he bought 3 bottles home with different flavors , and we shared it. It tastes so great ! Since then, he can not stop buying it. I addict to it again... besides that, instant noodles tastes not bad too. How do you resist those delicious junk food ?

A picture sent from a married man to his normal female friend. Only a picture, no words before and after . Days ago, he sent a video of a woman losing her bikini bottom in a wave pool. Is it sexual harassment ?

  6. Few people know that. In the White House metaphysical phenomena happened with Abraham Lincoln. The sensitive Nettie Colburn visited the White House for advice (as happened with the Oracle of Delphi, located in the city of Delphi, Ancient Greece). These advice influenced Abraham Lincoln's decision for the Emancipation Proclamation.

I logged in today and I see an entirely new web page design with no notifications about it. The new design does not have the ability to show the users content which I find extremely inconvenient as I may have active threads in multiple forums and the users content is the best way to track my active threads. Otherwise I may not notice responses in certain threads. Doesn't anyone else find this very inconvenient?

  8. people say don't care about the persons who don't care about you. Remember it, you will have less unhappiness. It is easier said than done. why the persons you care about don't care about you ? do u feel the same way ? what will you do ? life is so hard....

  9. Separating substance quality over time thins the point of separation, towards a point. The point at which one is trying to separate matter remain inseparable. As this effect realizes the matter hardens or the energy brightens. This requires that towards shifts in understanding of the melody the emotional response to the music brightens, hardens, and/or becomes inseparable from that which is around. This makes most good melodies most pleasing with a synthy vibe because to cause what is like separation with the like the system inside the matter must be opened into reality. This also makes most good melodies have a more pleasurable depth with percussion because it fills…

The Vietnam War was a fiasco. The protests that the american people made were correct. Vietnam won by determination (soldiers had a tattoo: "Born in the North, die in the South"). The question is: if the Vietnam War were in the present day, would Vietnam win again? It's no use having perforating missiles, the mother of all bombs. The war in Iraq lasted 10 years. The answer is: they could. The Vietnam war could last for 20 years. This situation is hypothetical and will not happen. But it exemplifies what wins a war.

I know it's kind of a stupid question, but I really can't see why all of the gas produced by the digestive system does not work it's way upward. (This is a result of currently suffering from severe stomach pains.)

  17. German are the most numerous ethnic group in the US, yet it seems like whenever you encounter an American with a German last name they are Jewish. I wonder why that is. Does anyone know? I know some people of German ancestry have anglicized their last names, but then again, why haven't the Jewish people? Is it that Jewish immigration has been more recent while Germans moved earlier and maybe that practice of anglicization went out of style by the time the Jewish people came over?

  18. Hello guys, I was hoping to start a topic where we could friendly insult each other in a scientific way just for laughs. Stuff like: "You got into the gene pool while the lifeguard wasn't watching." or "Your wheel is turning, but the hamster is dead." "You are so dense that light bends around you." etc

  19. I know this is a mismatch, boring topic on this forum but there are a lot of knowledgeable people with experience in a wide variety of subjects so I wanted to get your opinion. Transfer pricing relates to the price applied to intercompany transactions. These transactions can include the sales of products, the provision of a service, the lending of money and the use of (intangible) assets. A simplified example of this is that you can be a multinational company with headquarters in Germany for example, open a branch or even a "mailbox" company in a tax heaven country (Bahamas, Bermuda) with 0 corporate tax and keep 100% of the profits. I oppose taxes in general …

  21. If you have a look at all the great physicists and mathematicians of the past and present. You will start to notice that these individuals are portrayed as if they have a natural gift in math or physics or whatever they do. instead of hearing how much work they put in you only hear about the amount of work they didn't put in. (i.e Stephen Hawking averaging only about an hour a night of study for his physics Ph.D.) I would like to hear your opinions on, whether you think arithmetical abilities are based on natural abilities or through many sleepless nights and empty coffee mugs.

  22. There appear to have been Notable events throughout History . Are we going through one NOW ? One could rhyme off a number of Notable events, like :- The Big Bang , the recombination , the formation of Earth, the collision with earth by Theia , Life on Earth, the 65 million year ago asteroid strike , Mankind, some monumental occurrences In our history ( like World war 1 & 2 . ) We appear to be in ' something ' at this very moment ? Self Destruction. Mass Migration . What is it ? What is going on ? .

Hello. What do you think about such payment method? Everyone everyday writes how many hours he has spent working, these numbers are summed once a month, the sum is multiplied by some factor and this is your salary. Particularly, if this is used in R&D and research, i.e. not 'around science' jobs, but in places where there is real need to conduct experiments to move forward. I was unable to find out how common such thing on the West. Here it is Russia, and here it is pretty uncommon. My attempt to find the answer made me imagine that only undergraduates may work like this in the West. In Russia as I've said already this is fairly uncommon, even undergraduates are usu…
