Hi... My name is Prashant Sawant, residing at Mumbai(bombay) India. From my childhood i dont belive in god. I think that god does not exist. But now many people are telling me about god, so i am getting confused. I started thinging about it and i found two theories about god and world. These are -- 1. If god does exist then it may be possible that the world is also a "Virtual Reality" created by god. God is a basic intellegence who have designed the world. We know about a VR as seen in movies. Anyone attempting to argue the Special Theory of Relativity needs to understand the basics of how light travels, and how we perceive it. Einstein wrote that the speed of light does not depend on the speed of the object emitting the light. To prove this, Einstein referred to De Sitter’s observation of the binary stars, which are two stars that are orbiting each other. De Sitter concluded that if the speed of light were dependant on the speed of the star, then the light emitted from the star as it is traveling towards us would eventually catch up to the light that was emitted from the same star when it was traveling away from us. What is exactly philosophy? How would one write philosophical manuscripts?

Quite simply, I think people who believe in UFO's and the "little green men" are crazy. A) Traveling the speed of light is impossible. How could they reach Earth then? B) There's been so many "sightings", why the heck would aliens keep coming back? C) People who are "abducted" could very easily have experienced different things. The majority of UFO's are actually planes, satellites, stars, or other such things. It's far more likely that those unexplainable events ARE government projects than aliens.

I recently got a book called "Thinking Physics" which is a book demonstrating physics with cartoony examples and such (it's fun). However I noted a few problems, and I'm not sure if I'm right or not. The first one, on which I know I am right, is that he claims that energy has mass. This is demonstrated by the following example: You have a box strong enough to withstand a nuclear explosion and keep all the energy inside of it (not likely, but say you have it). Have you ever been laying in bed and your thinking all the stuff you have to do tomorrow and all the stuff you messed up on that day? It seems whenever I have a chance to sit down and think I get depressed. When I was younger and not as social I was sad a lot, not like really sad, just not satisfied with everything. Now I'm out all the time, I don't spend any time at home. I don't have anytime to think. When I do think I think about what I'm going to do with my friends the next day, and I'm always happy and excited. So, I was thinking that maybe thinking too much makes you stressed out adn depressed. Has anyone else thought about this??

I believe it would be theoreticly possibe to create a universe. If you have infinate processing power you could execute infinatly complex programs. What if it were possible to build a 'robotic computational entity' embryo that that has the ability to harvest space dust, gases and astral bodies. The entity would be able to evolve itself by producing processors, memory units and more robotic units to increase harvisting and manufacturing potential.
