Vitamin B17 was the topic of great controversy over 30 or so years ago when some of the worlds top scientists claimed that when consumed the components of the seed make it 100 % impossible to develop cancer and will kill existing cancer in the most cases. Who here heard about this? As you may know Vitamin BH17 is found in most fruit seeds, manely Apricot seeds. The pharmacuticals companies together with the medical establishments pushed the FDA into making it ilegal to sell 'raw' apricot seeds or vitamin B17 with information about it's effects on cancer. Even to this day you cant get raw apricot seeds in your health food store only the sun dried ones which have all t…

When taking a shower is it a health hazard to breathe in steam, which may condense in the lungs, thereby drowning them and decreasing how well they take up oxygen? Furthermore, I've been told that steam from the shower can accelerate the wrinkling process, making you look much older than you really are. Can these problems, if they are problems, be fixed by having colder showers? How long should a normal shower be before it become bad for your health?

They say that the optimal number of glasses of water one should drink per day is 8. I'm skeptical though. If we really needed that many, wouldn't we crave it? Lucky if I crave more than 3 glasses per day.

This question has just occureed to me and i find it interesting. Assuming a person is blind from birth, how do they understand sight in their own mind. I know a superficial answer is easy to ascribe, but looking a little deeper, are there any common mistakes that a blind person might make, are there forms of cognition (not perception but cognition) that consequently become unavailable. I know for example that a pianist has a certain advantage as they can only locate the keys without the use of sight, where a sighted player (and I am one) can only seem to look at one hand or the other. If the habit of finding a finger position in one hand is triggered by vision then if you…

My questions, {other than what do i ha…

  7. Hi. This all started when I was about 10 or 11. I always yawn (sometimes It's even hard to make a complete yawn) and deep breathe. Like if I don't have enough air in my lungs. Now I am 14 and It still continues. Also It seems like it's hard to breath only when I think about it. When I do something (homework or some important job) I forget about it and it gets OK. Maybe my brain "forgets" to breath normally or something?? Also when I turn my body up-down, left-right I hear very strange sounds from my lungs. Like if all the air there comes out. When I told about it to my parents they said like - "don't worry about it. You will get used with it Can anyone tell me what to d…

  8. I am 29 years old fit and healthy male. I eat properly (of course a candy bar or two every once in a while) I do not drink but 3 drinks a week and I exercise several times a week. Recently however I have had problems with my stomach. If I do not keep food in my stomach every couple hours my stomach starts to hurt so bad it makes my saliva count increase to the point of hurling. It hurts very very very very bad. Also sometimes in the middle of the day if I drink bottled or filtered tap water I get the same stomach ache then I eat even a single chip and it will go away. It feels as if my stomach acids have doubledi n size and are pissed off and trying to get out. Also my "S…

If you're unfamiliar with it, microneedling is a proceedure used for skin rejuvenation (including removing scars) and hair loss. A device is used to create many many tiny needle puncture wounds on the skin or the scalp. It's something htat is becoming increasingly popular, but it seems to me, with my limited knowledge, that there might be some cancer concerns here through two distinct mechanisms: 1) What is described here starting with the header "Dermarolling May Trigger Tumor Formation" 2) generation of new hair follicles through stem cells When used on the scalp, microneedling induces the creation of new hair follicles through stem cell division. From…

Given one of the body's organs, let's say the pancreas, cells making up the organ are continually being replaced as present cells age and die. For some reason one division of cells produces new ones which differ in their reproductive process; they reproduce too soon. Those new cells, reproducing too quickly, constitute a "pancreatic cancer" Assuming the above happens, and that it happens frequently, do you believe the normal body is quickly aware of the abnormal cells, and makes every effort to eliminate them? If so, it follows that should the body be unable to totally eliminate those relatively few new abnormally multiplying cells, the pancreas has become "cancer…

  12. Recently there was a freedom of information request for the Japanese government to release data on the Pfizer vaccine. That request yielded bio-distribution data on the lipid nanoparticles that carry the mRNA in the body. I will post a chart which summarizes the data from the FOIA request and also the report itself (Japanese and English). My question is, looking at this bio-distribution data which shows large concentrations of the lipid nanoparticles collecting in the bone marrow and ovaries post vaccination, what long term potential side effects might be anticipated in individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine? Summary of bio-distribution of lipid nanopar…

If some country (not pointing any fingers...yet) were to weaponize a virus, like say, ebola, how would they do it? Moreover, how would it be unleashed and how effective would it be? Do you think that it would be more deadly than chemical or nuclear warfare? It seems to me that biological weapons are much more efficient, deadly, and they don't leave quite as much of a mess as several thousand miles of dead, irradiated soil. I'm not entirely familiar with the process of weaponizing and spreading of a virus, so I'm curious. Any insight?

Each member of our household flushes the toilet after defecation because the sight of a toilet bowl filled with feces is disgusting. However, because of the drought here my parents have suggested to me that I should not flush the toilet after I urinate because that would waste too much water. They suggest letting the toilet water get more and more concentrated with urine before flushing it. This saves money as well as the environment. But what I wonder is whether an unflushed toilet is a health hazard. How concentrated should the toilet water be before we flush it to avoid any health problems or is it better to just flush after each urination? I would like to convince…

What is it about internet forums that attracts control freaks as moderators? Is it the sense of POWER they feel possessing the 'banned' 'suspended' buttons? Do they enjoy total control because they have none over anyone in the real world? Were they robbed of a happy childhood, had an unhappier teen age hood, moved up to a miserable adulthood? Why can't they control their vicious instincts? Should they seek psychiatrict help or go to a churh where they will hear words like "Love" "Truth" "Honesty." Posters on this forum, we need to have compassion for these moderators. They can't seem to help themselves, so let's help them through prayers. A look at the list of b…

Hi all, My question is this: Can we ever hope to fully understand the brain when the most powerful tool in our possesion is the brain itself? Also, much of the brain is inaccessable to us consciously. Can a system (such as the brain) be "pointed" at itself? I'm struggling to phrase this correctly... but you guys are intelligent enough to get my gist.

I've been looking at indigestion tablets - they are very expensive. Most contain Kaolin, Magnesia etc.. Chalk dust being a major part. In some parts of the world, people actually eat dirt, clay and chalk to ease digerstion problems. Milk can help. My question is: Couldn't one just eat a pinch of clean chalk dust to cure/ease indigestion, instead of paying £3.00 for a packet of Rennie?

It's common knowledge that eating healthy gives you more energy. So here's a question: does eating junk food reduce your energy even if you've taken your daily requirements of health foods? For example, suppose for a full day, someone ate a balanced quantity of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and lean dairy products. He ate the required daily amount for someone of his type. He's getting enough good quality sleep and he's staying away from drugs and alcohol. If on top of all that he had a fair amount of junk food (say a bag of chips, some pop, a donut, and some buttered popcorn at a movie) would he still have his energy levels up at what they would be if he c…

We can currently do transplants of lungs, kidneys, livers, etc. if those organs are damaged or diseased. Will we ever be able to do so with brains? I've heard a lot about the possibility of growing replacement organs in vitro or using 3-D printers to create replacement organs. When will we be able to do so with brains? What obstacles lie in the way?

  24. I have been smoking high quality medicinal pot 2-3 times every day for the past 7.5 years. I just quit about 3 days ago to take a drug test next week (total of about 10-11 days). I need to find some statistics on ng/ml of thc detectable in urine for chronic smokers. I have read that it can go up to the thousands!!! Is this true? If so, how long for such a chronic smoker to get below 100-150? Was the smoker fatter, skinnier, etc.? Did he/she exercise? I have found some statistics out there, but none are very clear or specific... I plan to use the Erowid.com Visine method to drop my ng/ml significantly (about 2/3 decline in concentration), but it won't be enough …

  25. Hi: I've heard that most types shock of any can cause diarrhea because the autonomic nervous system responds to the hypoperfusion by constricting blood vessels that supply the colon. This starvation of oxygen irritates the colon, leading to diarrhea. However, in septic shock, all blood vessels around the body dilate due to chemicals released as a result of the infection. So how does septic shock cause diarrhea, if intestinal circulation isn't impaired? Thanks, GX
