New job

Featured Replies

I have accepted a position as a research associate at the University of Luxembourg within the 'Unité de Recherche en Mathématiques'. The position comes with more responsability such as some teaching duties and supervision of students - undergraduate, masters and hopefully I can jointly supervise a PhD student.

Exciting times ahead.

Great News. Luxembourg is fun - can be quite disconcerting how the locals switch languages (most speak a minimum of three) - but I have really liked visiting there. Hope the Brexit destructors haven't caused you extra grief

Luxembourg is fun

People tell me that the city is not much fun. Too small and not a lot going on.

Nothing has changed yet, and it is not clear if anything will or if it does, what it will change into.

So no problems for a couple of years for sure.

Gratz - sounds like a great post! :)

(Well deserved too! ;))

Congrats !

You've often demonstrated a great demeanor and willingness to help here.

I'm sure your undergrads and masters will appreciate you as much as we do.

I must not be getting enough sleep because I initially read that you were going to have teaching duties and be "supervillain of students."

This seems cool, too, though. Congratulations!

He's always been just one lab accident away....

You need a brand new car now.

I guess you will understand my comment after a few days in Luxembourg.

Congratulations!
