Can't tell you how much I'd appreciate some input from anyone, everyone, esp. from women, on a situation that has me very depressed. You should know that I'm married, have young kids, and my marriage is fairly stable though my wife and I have grown distant emotionally. I won't point fingers, trying to keep this factual. Neither has had an affair (take it as fact please). I work for an East Coast company and a little over a year ago, our firm moved a guy and his family here from Vancouver BC. I instantly bonded with the guy and in six months we became best buddies. Tragically, unbelievably, almost a year ago, he and his young son, and another two people, were killed in…

a primary scientific article on biotech. i would like it to be on chromatography but anything will do. any good sites?

some of mine are the "28 known galaxies" from superman and space fizziks from just about any scifi movie(sound in space, fire, shock waves, everything being oriented in the same manner, ships sinking once hit in star wars...) o, cand the core. it was chock full of crap. post ur own favorites.

While I like the new style, I have to say that the new images for Post Thread and whatnot are a bit too light and childish. I would prefer if they were a bit darker and more like the ones alt_f13 made previously, although I like the roundness. Perhaps like the default phpBB images, except bluish. Any other comments?

As anybody who is in to science knows, there is no better feeling than discovering something on your own without any help or instruction to lead you there. For me, I got that feeling yesterday at the golf course. I recently took up golf but couldn't swing the clubs properly for the life of me. I was HORRIBLE. Suddenly, after watching a lot of golf swings and going through my head what I was doing wrong, I discovered something. A simple little thing such as a bent left knee was all that was separating me from a good golf game. I went to the driving range and tried out this new manner of swining, and it worked! I was hitting the ball straight as can be and for quite …

As you all know, we are creating a flash animation based on SFN. However, to do that, we need flash animators. If you think you can do flash, create a small flash animation (10-15 seconds long) and post it here. We (Phi for All and me) will choose the best flash animators to do the job of flash animating. So, let your imagination roll and show us your animating skills!

Alright this is only stage one of our production, and it may take quite a while. Over here, you are free to debate on what our movie should be about. However, I don't want to see any ideas with dirty content in it. Otherwise, let your imagination roll! Put in all your ideas, no matter how stupid you think it may be. We will probably end up combining many people's ideas into our story. After our idea for our story has been decided, then I will create another thread where you can post what character you will be, etc. etc. But right now, let's finish Stage 1! Start submitting your ideas!

Why is it that as humans, we must wear clothe? Just where in evolution's line did we pick up this trait and forgot to drop it? I know a large group of people speculate that we wear clothe to protect us from cold and such, and that's perfectly understandable. But some few thousand years ago when people lived virtually on the equator and other such humid and hot areas, why have humans not dropped this dirty habit of wearing clothe? Why not just let it all out?!

I was wondering what yall think. I know groups like Mensa are where you just meet up and sort of have fun. It's alot of really smart people who get together and have a good time. However, from my knowledge, most of the high, high IQ societies, like Mega Society, and Mysterium, are full of themselves. I have heard that the Giga society is not(in fact it was specifically created to mock high IQ societies), and I am pretty sure of this. Does anybody else wanna talk about this?

all of a sudden this very high pitched noise came in my room, and only my room. When i turn off my computer screen, it stops, when i turn it back on, it goes on again. any idea!?

Why do doctors always have to write in such a way that you can barely read what is written? Is there some particular reason? *Off topic posts are not minded in this thread*

I'm looking to buy a new PC game, but I'm a bit out of the loop as to what is good and what is teh suck. World of Warcraft looks pretty good to me. I definitely want good multiplayer. Single player isn't really important to me. Suggestions?

I noticed this a while ago and my curiousity has been killing me. What exactly does this mean? Is it a Monty Python joke or character maybe?

I like the middle english look. Casual: That's why I have a cloak. It's a nice black cloak unlike a trenchcoat that goes around me pretty well. Sometimes i'll have a surcoat under that. I'll wear boots with a studded belt and a studded choker around my neck. I've been meaning to find a fake gold chain with a marijuana leaf on it but haven't found one. The thing I like most about college is that they don't care what you wear, as long as it isn't trashy. That's why I also have those shades that you can't see through with the cool multicolor fade. Or else black shirt and blue jeans. I personally don't like dressing up whatsoever unless the occasion call…

Those who follow the show should be pretty familiar with the title.
