Welcome to the world of science, anything against evolution is an ennemie. An IQ test and personality test are a good idea to start in science since it is a large field.

I am new at sciences and physics, so please bear with me. I would like to know how fast air would have to travel at normal atmospheric pressure to create heat. I cannot find the answer anywhere.

Hello. I have developed a system to remote control something over the Internet at my university LTH in Lund, Sweden. So I made a prototype 2 as a battle tank. It is a model of a Stuart M5 Tank with a paintballkanon, laserdoomweapen and red dot aim. You can look at some pictures and movies here. http://www.gamereality.se/images/spegelbild.JPG http://www.gamereality.se/images/spegelbild2.JPG http://www.gamereality.se/images/spegelbild3.JPG http://www.gamereality.se/images/Bild(1).JPG http://www.gamereality.se/images/frm00004.jpg http://hem.passagen.se/gamereality/Klipp1.wmv http://hem.passagen.se/gamereality/Klipp2.wmv …

I'm planning to buy a new graphing calculator for college work (I'm majoring in physics.) I was wondering if anyone had any tips on which one to go for.

Consider the possibility of genetically crossing a plant such as a weed, which naturally grows everywhere it can, and an edible vegetable such as spinach or romaine lettuce. With the desired result being a delicious and edible vegetable that grows everywhere naturally. I will pass this idea on to as many involved in genetic science as I can. Thank you Lee Fernandes

http://www.alexchiu.com/ This guy. to put it blatantly, is a complete and utter moron. It kept me entertained for quite a while. He also has another site. http://www.superiching.com I hope you get as good a laugh as I had. He rates himself among Einstein, Tesla, and Edison. EDIT: His "philosophy" section is great.

I keep wondering why we haven't gotten an earful from the end-of-the-world crowd about Deep Impact. Are they still hanging their heads in shame about the Millenium Bug, or are they all too busy preparing for Peak Oil now?!

After making some research I came to those conclusions: Science can be a religion if I tell you what my definition of "religion" is. For a complete definition of "Religion" see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/davepriority/

Ok, I just had one of the most creepy yet facinating experiences of my life. I live in Florida and American Cockroaches are everywhere. They are giant roaches "reported up to 3 inches" that can FLY! I spot one of these in my room on the floor and crush it with my can of turtle food. I used a single bludgeoning strike with decent force then twisted the can until i heard a crunching noise. I lift up the can and there was no guts or anything. He was still pretty much in tact and rose a little as the carpet rose from being pushed down by the can but wasnt moving at all. That should give you an idea of the force I used. I left the room because I was on my way outside to smoke …

My problem is that I am new to science and I am alone, I have been confused and fooled by many religions. I choosed to turn to science and to forget about the other religions Tell me what are the priorities areas of science that I need to go.

Yesterday I met Richard Batty for the 1`st time, had a good chat and watched some home videos of past experiments etc... it was a Very Nice meeting I`ll post the Pic when I get my cam server working again. has anyone else ever met another SFN member here, as a result of SFN? it doesn`t count if you knew each other BEFORE you came here.

I would like to live for a few months in the US. Is it easy to find even a small job like at a mall or whatever where I can make about 800 dollars a month, pay rent for 400 dollars a month and live with the reamining 400 dollars? Could I pull it off ? I also know some IT, could I easily find a small job as consulting IT, programming always for a minimal, but enough to get by amount of money ? Any state would do, just to have an idea. Thanks for any information.

I'm leaving for Israel in a few hours to go the the Weizmann institute. If I don't get to a computer in that time, I'll talk to you guys in a month. Bye!
