Ok so I started a business a while back however I have not really done anything with it physically. It is based on the idea of giving scientist, engineers, and artists the space and resources they would need in order to fully develop there ideas through fluishion. Like say if someone wanted to build a flying car they could do this here. I feel as if all I am lacking are people who are willing to work from there passions and not from there desires, however I am an extreme novice when it comes to trying to find these types of people along with fully setting up a business from scratch. What advice can you guys give to assist. Thank you.

Greetings. At the supermarket bakery, I used for years to buy raw frozen french bread dough and bake it at home at my convenience. It is the way they receive the dough from some supplier and they only bake with not much labor. Today, a grumpy supervisor decided to not sell me anymore the bars of hard frozen dough at the baked price by some invented or not corporate decision. I have to ask your expertise, on how to make it at home. Yes, frozen in dense bars form and keep until the baking craving day. Works by leaving it to thaw a few hours and rises before putting it in the oven. Any expert around ?

Speaking of bull š . The Protected Designation of Origin is nothing more than protectionism, similar to tariffs, to protect local industry. I've had American made Parmigiano Reggiano that was as good, if not better, than the Italian imported product. And nowhere near the price ( that is the main reason for protection; preserve the high price point ). Similarly, I've had brandy that is much better than the protected Cognac. And although I don't much care for sparkling white wine, I prefer Prosecco ( also protected ) to Champagne. But I do like Buffalo mozzarella; the fresh stuff still oozes milk when you cut into it. ( I have no idea how the buffa…

Hi all. One of those things partially in retina, unable to remember ... Once in a documentary of perhaps 30 years ago, heard the term Canadians use or used to refer to a U.S. dwelling, -read 'American'- style of houses, or type of construction, or some building process, or particular shape, or characteristic... Never heard that word before nor after. Cannot remember š¤ Any clues please ? It is not necesarily a despective or favorable word, and not a common used word either but seemed genuine. Like replacing the word 'American' in the phrase "American house" from Canadian slang -or not slang- ! term.

Maybe this is a duplicate. I did do a search first but didn't find anything. Anyway, if not, why not post any money or labour saving tips you'd like to share? I'm sure everyone has something. Just to start it off, I have every kind of coffee maker going, but they all get on my nerves, emptying coffee grinds, cleaning and rinsing etc. So what I do now is make about ten cups, all in one go, and put the black coffee in a plastic milk bottle in the door of the fridge. So I do the same amount of fiddling for 10 cups, as I used to do for one. So when I want coffee, I just pour and heat, and that's it. Can't tell the difference in taste at all. It's far better than …

Hello Everyone, I am currently in the process of applying for jobs and am running into a problem. I am having trouble answering the question reference "Why do you want to work here?" I understand that the interviewer is expecting me to express my interest in the company, but I'm struggling to come up with the right words. Has anyone else struggled with this question? If so, what strategies did you use to answer it? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I came from a handshaking culture. Men, women, children greeted each other by shaking hands, unless they were family. We used to make fun of kissing Brezhnev (brezhnev kiss - Bing images). Then, I started moving from place to place and met other kinds of bodily touching between strangers: a kiss, cheeks touch, three touches, hugs, hugs and kisses, etc. I feel very, very uncomfortable with all of them. I was so grateful to covid for stopping people doing this, but now it is coming back. I don't want to offend others, but I also don't want their bodies to come too close to mine. Any suggestions?

Now that we are passed the dreaded 1st, Does anyone remember any good pranks ? I remember when I was in a student flat in college a prank played upon one other student. In the middle of the appropriate night we all got up except Jack , got dressed and busied about making breakfast noises. "Hurry up Jack, or you will be late for lectures." "Didn't you hear the new?, there is a total eclipse this morning, that's why it is dark" One by one we left for our appointed lectures and hid around the corner. Sure enough afte a couple of minutes Jack emerged and set off for the college campus about 1.5 miles away. He didn't twig till he got there alone.

I'm watching Joe Biden give a speech right now, and his face is coming over as eerily immobile. I know he's elderly, and miles better than the alternative. I'm not knocking him as a politician, but I just wondered if other people get the same feeling about his face? Has he been banging in the Botox, or having nips and tucks done? His mouth moves, and his eyes blink, but the rest of the face seems like it's fixed. Not that there's anything wrong with it. I'd go for it myself, if I had the money to waste, and it didn't hurt, and never went wrong.

Yesterday morning it was the end of 2019 and I was chilling. This morning I woke up and we're into the second quarter of 2023. I am no longer chilling. I can't attribute this to covid or lockdowns or anything else, but the last three and half years has gone by positively frighteningly quickly. I just turned 37, positively a grown ass dude, no longer youthful and entirely carefree (which I kind of felt like up until I hit this most recent age). Frightening. It feels like the last 3+ years I've spent sat about doing very little, where as prior, I would make every day count, getting qualifications, travelling, etc etc. Is it just me?

I believe that body parts can be preserved in certain condition, such as if placed in ice, so that in some cases severed limbs can even be reattached. I did once hear a story about a boy who got his finger chopped off in an accident involving an axe. They were able to reattach the finger which involved the use of leeches. I would imagine that they had to put his finger in ice to preserve it while they brought it to the hospital though. I was thinking though, what about body parts in space? Let's say you lose a finger for instance in space, would the environment of outer space be able to preserve it so that it could be reattached?

Watching last week's repair shop included a fascinating repair to a dented bugle. The repairer slid a cylindrical hardwood plug into the tube, followed by a metal weight about 15-20mm diameter by 15-20mm length. Then he shook the instrument up and down causing the weight to bounce up and down on the wooden plug, driving it through the flattened section of the air tube. This process took several hours, clearing the dents in the process. A fine example of the power of a steady small tap tap tap. As to the Repair Shop itself, I've noticed that in more recent episodes there are longer and better explanations of the whys and wherefores of what t…

Hi guys, recently I stumbled upon this strange video in youtube. I downloaded a 17 page handwritten pdf file from the description which is hard to read. I am not a mathematician nor a linguist and although I have read it I don't know what to think. It looks more like an incomplete exercise or speculations over the grammar of the simple sentence. But numbers and kind of their definitions were involved, which is strange for a grammar work. Here is the link:
