Seen any good sculptures made from almonds lately? Note: no other nut-based sculptures may be discussed under threat of the ban-hammer!

I own something that is similar to a banner exchange. Therefore, I can see some information about lots of visitors from many different types of web sites. I was looking at the statistics, and they are very different than what I saw just a few months ago. A few months ago, about 75% of the visitors were using Internet Explorer, about 20% used Firefox, and about 5% used another browser. Here are today's stats:

Hi everyone, Since this is a science forum i just wanted to post this image of a drawing artist Justin Michael Jenkins saw in a dream. Notice the DNA patterns and coils of life and the inherent geometric patterns and shapes within a cosmic setting. I think it has a scientific feel to it. I hope you enjoy this (: The link is http://www.imaginativepencil.com/abstractp0550.html'>http://www.imaginativepencil.com/abstractp0550.html Thanks, Michael Retla http://www.imaginativepencil.com

I was just wondering about death and all and this thought came to my mind. What would you do if you knew you were gonna die real soon. I mean you knew the exact time and all?? How would you spend your last day??? Id spend the day with loved ones. Tell everyone I hate that I hate them. Confess everything to everyone. And spend all my money on something usefull. LIke a nice dinner party. Or gifts for someone i love.

Microsoft is going to be offering free domain names and free web hosting! Visit: http://officelive.microsoft.com/officelivebasic.aspx This is amazing! A domain name, 30MB of storage, 10GB of monthly bandwidth, and 5 e-mail accounts. I can't believe all of this is free! It's better than my current hosting company, and I'm paying about $175 a year for it. What do you all think?

Microsoft has a free toolbar for IE at: http://ideas.live.com/programpage.aspx?versionId=f53eeee8-de38-45c8-bc6d-a4749e827cc5 I think this toolbar looks very impressive. It adds tabbed browsing to IE, and it has tons of other features.

Mine: 1) Decided to re-enact Fight Club with a few guys (i'm female) who were all 2+ years older than me 2) Set up a chain of trampolines with the aforementioned friends, that went like this: jump from the roof, onto the first trampoline, onto a smaller trampoline, into the pool. Your turn.

I tried looking for a medical forums but couldn't really find any. I know I'm going to look back and see this as a stupid post but it seems pretty abnormal to me. I had blue balls, you know, and after like twenty minuits my right testicle was fine. I have blue balls all the time and it's normally not that big a deal. Half an hour, most of the time, and it goes away. But my left testicle has continued to hurt -- over two hours after it started (the pain is also in my lower left abdomen). It doesn't hurt as bad as it did originally, but it's been the same grade of pain for the past hour and doesn't seem to be getting any better. I looked on wikipedia, which say…

Hi all! Just wanted some opinions. Do casinos actally have the right to say card counting is cheating because I don't see it as cheating. If your simply counting numbers how can they say its cheating anymore then normal? I think its wrong ad think they do not have any right to tell card counters they can't count cards... The logic is correct, the rules do not specify its not allowed and your not using any decide to do the calculations for you so how can it be cheating? Opinions anyone? Cheers, Ryan Jones

Hi guys, I'm going to purchase an MP3 player and want it to look cool. After much thinking i've shortlisted the sony nw-e507 1gb player and the mobiblu cube 1gb. The main feature I want from the player is that it must act as a USB drive when connected, but it is OK if I need a software to load the songs (a la Sonicstage). Here's a scene: I go to my friends house to take an important file for presentation. Now, all I want to do is to connect the player and drag and drop the files. Some what like an iPod, meaning to listen songs you need the software, but to just copy files you can directly do it without any software. The mobiblu supports UMS i.e. drag-and-…

Hello everyone... try to solve this. There is one hypothesis that has held up to every possible test. Two hints below if you feel you need them. This h. seems to be different in that we seem to have found a physical reality. It has not varied across many orders of magnitude from the attosecond to the age of the known universe.

I know many people here are young like me (19) so I was wondering if you are concerned or excited to experience the world in the next 50 years. The electronic revolution we live will only grow exponentially. Thinking about the technology available 50 years from now stretches the imagination as far as it can go. Nanotechnology poses many exciting solutions, but can also cause problems. Global warming and overpopulation threaten the ecosystem. And what will our nations be like if there is no viable solution to the energy crisis? So in 50 years will we be living a peaceful society; our massive cities powered by cold fusion, having Honda robots cook us diner? Will be…

I'm in highschool. Junior year. However, i'd like you all to look at this list of vocabulary words that we have to define for the current chapter of the book we're reading. Chapter 1 1. [sycamores] 2. (Recumbent) 3. [Wearily] 4. (Bindle) 5. (Morosely) 6. [Droned] 7. [Triumphantly] 8. (Pantomime) 9. [Contemplated] 10. (Brusquely) 11. (Imperiously) 12. [Whimpering] 13. [Elaborate] 14. [stake] 15. [Yammered] Words in brackets are words i've learned in 4th grade, words in parentheses are words that i've learned in 6th grade. Also, those words are for Of Mice and Men, a book i've read several times already. But not in 11th grade. Not in 10th, not in 9th …

MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Caltech (California Institute of Technology) have pulled off another amazing prank. Last year Caltech students went to MIT and handed out MIT-branded shirts to students visiting the campus with "MIT" on the front... on the back it said "because not everyone can go to Caltech"! This year MIT students got their revenge when 11 MIT students walked into Caltech and stole the 130 year old, 1.7 ton Fleming Cannon which normally sits in front of Caltech's Fleming undergrad house. The prank was perfectly timed as this is the week when prospective students visit college campuses across America. Security did initially stop…

So obviously this is a physical thing, but in science class I was always taught that matter is neither created nor destroyed, it only changes forms. So technically wouldn't everyone on earth be the same age?
