Speculations
Pseudoscientific or speculatory threads belong here.
The Speculations forum is provided for those who like to hypothesize new ideas in science. To enrich our discussions above the level of Wild Ass Guesswork (WAG) and give as much meaning as possible to such speculations, we do have some special rules to follow:
- Speculations must be backed up by evidence or some sort of proof. If your speculation is untestable, or you don't give us evidence (or a prediction that is testable), your thread will be moved to the Trash Can. If you expect any scientific input, you need to provide a case that science can measure.
- Be civil. As wrong as someone might be, there is no reason to insult them, and there's no reason to get angry if someone points out the flaws in your theory, either.
- Keep it in the Speculations forum. Don't try to use your pet theory to answer questions in the mainstream science forums, and don't hijack other threads to advertise your new theory.
The movement of a thread into (or out of) Speculations is ultimately at the discretion of moderators, and will be determined on a case by case basis.

Well we know that most cores of atoms are said to be stable or unstable by doing experiments . But I think I have found a way to predict if a core is stable or not without the known proton/neutron ratios : There are 3 interactions which contribute to the stability of a core . 1) Electrostatic repulsive forces 2) Pauli repulsion 3) Mass of the neutron being bigger than the mass of the proton When a core is unstable we say it has a big weak interaction potential energy . The weak interaction potential energy is mass . This is how it works : Let's take Hydrogen-2 and Helium-2 : There can be only 1 stable core with a certa…

I have been trying to get a response to some ideas I have regarding time, in particular time driven entropic gravity, I propose that Einstein's concept of spacetime warping by mass is in fact a simple warping of time. This has some remarkable consequences and I try to outline my ideas in this rather long spiel....if anyone can spare some time (lol!) I would be very happy to hear your thoughts.....good or bad.

A NEW KIND OF PROPULSION SYSTEM The three links below reveal ABSOLUTELY FREE the secret of the principle of operation of a new kind of propulsion system, which is cheap, safe, reliable and with strongly reduced (or even zero) pollution. (AND VERY IMPORTANT -- THE NEW TECHNOLOGY BELOW MUST BE EVALUATED ONLY BY HIGHLY QUALIFIED EXPERTS IN THEORETICAL AND APPLIED MECHANICS!) And here are the three links. 1) 2) 3) The first link contains the text, and the second link contains the related Figs.1-6. The two links form one united whole. The third link is a very important addition to the first link and to the second link. Besides WITH THE O…

Let's consider acceleration of two spaceships wich are rigidly connected on distance. In frame S backward spaceship is earlier accelerating. In S' frame backward spaceship is later stoping, therefore backward spaceship is attracting forward spaceship . Also backward spaceship is more traveling in S and in S' therefore it is younger . By the analogy a center of the Earth is backward spaceship and a surface is forward spaceship in frame of BB, in frame of center and in frame of surface. Escape velocity is caused by the non-simultaneity.

Time dimensions are key to understanding quantum entanglement. When we seem to force the particle to align with the direction of the measurement we are not actually affecting the spin what we are doing is focusing on one time dimension. So while the energy passing through the fabric is causing it to spin in multiple directions I imagine similar to like ball bearings in a wheel because the two particles are entwined whatever way they spin will be relational to each other exactly opposite in every way at every instant. When we observe this it will always be an observation in the same time dimension no matter how far apart they are so their behaviour will always reflect exac…

Obviously I have no evidence to back the following suggestions up, but neither does other more or less accepted hypothesis, like the 'inside black hole' one, or the 'multiverse' of M-theory. Suggestion 1: Could a new big bang have occurred 5 billion years ago, inside our universe, causing our universal expansion to accelerate? Like a balloon inside a balloon? Suggestion 2: This one should be easier to dismiss. Could the big bang have happened in two stages? Stage one releasing only dark matter, and later the version we know, with both matter and dark matter? In that way our universe would be surrounded by a huge gravitational field, that is only getting st…

DOI: 10.18483/ijSci.2115 W.D. Abstract This article is about a constant growth of objects and systems in the Universe, based on: the forces of matter attraction (gravity), rotation and its speed with their effects, too, the creation of whirls and cyclones as a result of the rotation of objects, systems and the Universe. The creation of light is related to the effects and force of waves (radiation) in their collision with visible matter. It is proven here that a redshift is directly related to the weakening intensity of waves to the distant objects. Instead of being over-intellectual, this text, as a form of evidence, also introduces images, created by the di…

Hello, My Name is Sascha Kozacenko, I'm from Germany and I think I found some interesting stuff I want to share with you. I'm watching often "Ancient Aliens" it's a really interesting show, with interesting opinions, I'm not with everything they talking about, but it's anyway interesting. I simply think, it's time to overthink the Science at all, we don't know by far not everything and we should be open for all. I've found some interesting Stuff... in this show they always talking about the Star People or Humans from stars which taught many ancient cultures like Mayans, Sumerians.... My Zodiac is Aries and together with a Taurus girl, happens interes…

Quantum four-dimensional geometry has taken 10 years to develop mathematically and to apply to atomic physics. It is based upon data such as the Rydberg quantum formula for the light spectrum of hydrogen, which became the model for the shell/subshell system of orbitales used in the Periodic Table of Elements. Quantum-Dimensional Mathematics have also provided a much more precise model of the nucleus, one which is likely to be rejected out of hand because it is so foreign to current thoughts. However, the nuclear model should be considered because it identifies a bonding function for neutrons which is completely lacking in current confused understandings. The model propose…

At first there were nothing, nothing is the same as a vacuum in a vacuum due to the dept of time, or nothing is the same as electricity. The edge of the two vacuums sparks an electron, a proton follows, now we got Hydrogen, due to the vacuums and the non-physical entity of Hydrogen, Oxygen comes after, and the universe is created. The universe is a node of water in nothing, later on the universe creates acid, because the water got an arbitrary surface and this creates a current that generates mRNA inside the water. The universe is made of water. The living beings came from the acid releases underneath the ocean.

String theory is a mathematical model . It hasn't been proven and I guess it will never be . Also it tries to combine general relativity with quantum mechanics which is wrong , due to the nature of quantum mechanics (Quantum mechanics describes the possible outcome of our universe and general relativity describes something which is already a part of our universe) . Well I guess QFT is wrong as well for the same reason but physicists stubbornly dont listen to me .

Well I think I have solved the matter-antimatter asymmetry. But this includes that the universe is not expanding , it is just being stretched . I will explain everything : In the beginning space-time was so curved that it existed in the size of a sugar cube. All the energy of the universe was stored inside that cube of sugar. Then dark energy took over and started to stretch the universe.Space-time started becoming more flat , and it "seemed" to be expanding , but in reality it was just stretched.During the era of the first particle - antiparticle pairs the universe was still very curved at some points of space-time. This acted like an event horizon …

Let's assume I clone a lizard so there are two identical lizards in genetics, one older, one younger. Experiment: I cut off the arm of both the young and old lizard and stitch the old lizard's arm on the young lizard's arm place where it's cut. Question: Would the young lizard attempt to transform the old lizard's arm into a young arm using regeneration, or would it simply shed off the old arm and grow a new one in its place? Analysis: I am always fascinated by the idea of regeneration and I know there has to be a communication mechanism among the cells during regeneration, but I am not sure if the mechanism seeks to reprogram a cell or push it aside and g…

My first thread about this topic: F=GmM/r²This equation is not valid and wrong. What is wrong with this equation?Mathematics equations are a away to measure quantities related to other quantities .Equations works for finite values, I measure r = 4 meters and find out F to be x NewtonsEquations won't work for infinite values , that is equations themselves works finitely but not infinitely .Let say F decreases without bound while r increases without bound, then the equation itself as a functional tool will approach infinity and the equation limit as r approaches ∞ is ∞, the equation is undefined and wrong. If the equation definition is the tool that finds values of F f…

Hi , is it not easier to find a fundamental formula for calculating the mass of elementary particles, for example, the Higgs mass. I'm sure, that such a formula exists, taking into account size analysis and a combination of fundamental fundamental constants (G, h, c) only, we get a formula where energy is inversely proportional to volume or length to the third power. $$ E = \frac {G h^2}{ c^2R^3}$$ The relativistic formula is invariant, the volume is reduced, the energy grows. Now we will substitute in the formula the value of the particle energy E = 100 Gev, we get the average size of length R = 10 {-29} m. Surprisingly, the energy of a particle of …

I solved the double slit by visualising the structure of the spacetime fabric and working out the logic. The structure I describe also provides a logical framework to explain the mechanics of gravity, electromagnetism and more. Both concept papers are available to view online. I have no formal scientific training I am more a philosopher so I hesitate to call them scientific papers however the vital information is there. The simple maths I used to solve the double slit experiment and reveal that time is three dimensional are as follows. We must analyse the amounts of hits on both the front and back wall and count exactly how many photons are fired. WH…

There's a lot unknown about the universe. I think a big area is pressure, and what happens in a black hole, and how are these united. What is gravity really? ...Considering that our current models rely on dark matter, a particle of an unknown type with unknown properties that makes up a far greater percentage of matter than all other matter combined, and that was not postulated to exist by either Einstein or the Standard Model. There is a possibility of a bidirectional aether in the manner proposed by the famous mathematician E.T. Whittaker in 1903 and 1904, who claims that two scalar potentials can form electromagnetic waves (as opposed to one vector and one sc…

About 15 years ago or so I had this idea how gravity could be simulated without traditional gravity itself being used at all. Thought I would share the idea with you to see if it raises any interesting discussions: Imagine space as a 2D grid on a paper. Make the grid/paper scale larger and larger every second. All matter you put on the paper would also scale larger and larger at the same rate as the paper/grid does. This means that nothing out of ordinary would be happening from the point of view of a human standing on that paper: everything seems to stay the same size and at equal distance to other objects on that paper. No gravity effects woul…

I'd like to start here in the Speculation forum. If it withstands scrutiny here, maybe I can move to a more formal forum. It seems I've been able to derive quantum theory from logic alone. And the wave function turns out to be a mathematical representation of material implication. There is a way to create a type of path integral using propositions and logical operators. It relies on the fact that a conjunction (logical AND) between propositions implies an implication between those propositions. Every point in space exist in conjunction with every other point. And when each point is represented by a proposition (that at least describes the coordinates of that poi…

Hi. I've long had a personal theory on evolution that, given time, it is inevitable that evolution builds larger brains and higher levels of intelligence, perhaps to some limiting factor beyond which there is perhaps some increasing cost in terms of fitness that ultimately levels out that progression, which we as a species probably haven't reached yet. It does so, because a bit more brains have a net survival benefit to many species that, for example, a longer beak to exploit a (relatively) new resource recently appearing within an ever changing environment does not have in the long run, a resource that will soon be gone again. Yes, examples of static species (like sha…
