@Sensei I looked at that series and would have got it if I went for inkjet but felt that this technology doesn't stand idle very well and their cost/page appears not as good as laser. The Lexmark I ordered does double sided printing.

@MigL Yes, I guessed a mono laser might not have the drying /clogging issues from just standing around. This happened to the inkjet I had. The supplied toner with this one has a quarter the capacity of a replacement. A high capacity replacement is actually the cost of a new printer.

@kotiThat's true. You can tell me now because that's going back and I'll be back to square one. Will a mono laser be the most cost effective solution for occasional use and which one. I only need black and white printing for parcel return labels and documents, letters etc. No more than a hundred pounds.

A printer. open box but new. I was saving twenty quid. The imaging unit and toner cartridge are missing. I think they are going to offer a refund. Ebay will send me a return label which I can't fucking print! It's more the aggro than the money. I'm going to have to tell them I can't send it back until next week when I have a printer.

And the admins wonder why this site is dead, while Quora & Researchgate are exploding in growth. Maybe they'll figure it out one day. SMH

The Notre-Dame cathedral is burning down right this minute. It is sad to watch an 850 year old monument go up in smoke. Apparently the big wooden steeple which was 70 meters high was constructed with lots of lead elements so as soon as the structure caught minor heat it all went like domino. I’ve been to Paris twice and never had a chance to see the cathedral, stupid me.

The news about that black hole thing made me think. Now forgive me, physicists and others, for being such a noob when it comes to astronomy, but I had this idea, which didn't sound too stupid to me, but again, I'm a real layman in astronomy.
I was thinking that the big bang may have been a black hole, being overloaded with everything else the universe held, such that it became unstable, and exploded? Additionally, if I'm right, black holes grow while eating stuff, and may eat each other. What if our whole universe will come to a point in time where there are only two black holes, which have eaten anything else, remaining only for one to eat the other one, leaving only one giant black hole, once again being overloaded, and exploding, like a new big bang?

Daylight saving time starts tonight, and I have to work in the morning.
Have to be up an hour earlier: 4:30 am instead of 5:30.
At my age, I need all the beauty sleep I can get. -
Can't post anymore or I would have replied on the thread. Yes sounds extremely implausible to predict stocks, but based in the context of trading on technicals (quantitive analysis) it does work better than any other chart out there. I have already proven it over and over and over again. If you saw the thing it would absolutely make sense. Advanced card counting is all it is.
Plausibility and danger are non relevant to the questions I asked, which was the reason for the thread. I am reaching out for collaboration and a method to begin sharing and testing the physics aspect of why the graph works.
I would love to share this with anyone I could trust and respect basically that's why I posted. I am looking for help on a professional level but don't know where or with whom to begin.

I know it's lazy of me but can anyone give me a link to someplace I can get tables to determine the mass of a star vs it's brightness?

I think you need @Janus to answer this.

Even though I have not met any of you guys in RL I dreamt yesterday that I was hanging out with a few members from the forum. Really strange dream. You guys looked like rockers but dressed business casual and the setting was an office space. I don't know why I'm sharing this haha

Ugh sizing smart bulbs is tough. Have to send back everything and try again.
