Pass executive orders effecting the lives of Americans in a viral emergency. Specifically should Andrew Cuomo have been allowed to force nursing homes to take infected covid 19 patients which resulted in the highest death rates in the country? This happened even after the nursing home deaths in Seattle, so why did doctors or the CDC allow cuomo to make this reckless decision that resulted in the deaths of harmless americans. I also wonder why the cdc, nsa, cia and doj are ignoring these deaths that were easily avoided.

There are so many easy ways to produce hydrogen gas. Aluminum and hydrochloric acid might be the easiest. But my question is: Is it safe to inhale hydrogen gas? Or do you just violently explode into a puff of random inexplicable dead-ness? I seriously couldn't find anything from perusing the rest of the the world wide internetwebs... So please answer or you will feel guilty when I explode from inhaling H2, with only the innocent intention of saying 'wasuuuup' in a high-pitched voice. Oh the horror! Egad! Thanks in advance, --who_needs_a_signature_when_your_name_is_already_written_next_to_your_post...--

Let's start up a reading list of recommended books about religion. So, what books have you read have been thought-provoking, influential, or just downright interesting? I'll start. The New Oxford Annotated Bible. I'm not done yet, but the annotations are very helpful and there are collections of explanatory essays and introductions to give background material about the theology and history involved. Lost Christianities, by Bart Ehrman. An interesting introduction into the early variants of Christianity that didn't survive to modern times. The variety is fascinating.

I suppose most of you are aware that Col Paul Tibbets, who recently passed away at age 94, was the pilot of the B-29 called Enola Gay said to have dropped the first atom bomb on the City of Hiroshima in August 1945. Ok, lets have a closer look at that story for a moment and see if the good Col was suffering from magnitude dyslexia. The story says that the B-29 carrying this atom bomb was cruising at an altitude of about 30,000 feet when they dropped the bomb and it is written that the bomb detonated at about 1800 feet above the city of Hiroshima. According to the testimonials of the crew onboard the Enola Gay two seperate shock waves struck them after the bomb went of…

I dont know if any of you had herd of this b4.. but i read about it and was astounded.. The Orion Prophecy says that the world will end in 2012. "Its magnetic field will completely reverse in one go. Phenomenal earthquakes and tidal waves will destroy our civilization. Europe and North-America will shift thousands of kilometers northward and end up in a polar clime. Nearly the whole Earth's population will perish in the apocalyptic events" Also I knew that the Mayans and Egyptians made their calender stop in the year 2012.. Cuz why keep going when theres no reason too? Scary huh? Is this a load of bs or do you think it could actually happen? and even if the poles did swit…

And his to mine. Religion is needed by some because people don't always get it and they need a guild. We're all given a map, but maps don't explain where we want to go... religious or secular, we all need a guild to explain the map, but were not all lucky enough to get a good one, religious or secular...

Many scientists say that ghosts are fictional and there is no scientific evidence to support them. However, when my family and I were on vacation at Gettysburg, PA we took some pictures with our digital camera that have ghost-like figures in them. I put some of the pictures on my web site at http://gettysburg.homestead.com. Please visit my web site and tell me what are in those pictures. Thank you.

I am sure everyone will think I am crazy for saying this, but I doubt it will change everyone's opinion since I am new and have more down-votes. I will just go on and say it. I remembered the Planck Time and Planck Length being 10^-33 sec and 10^-34 cm. Checking the wiki: It says the Planck Time was 10^-44 sec, and the Length is currently 10^-35 m, which is also 10^34 cm. When I was looking at the wiki a couple of weeks ago, the Planck Length was in the mid negative 40 decimal places. Then the Planck Time was only off by only one decimal place. Either someone is screwing around with the wiki here, or the Planck Length and Time doesn't seem to …

According to my theory, all objects get further from their core, because they came from their core. That means the planets came from the sun. That means Mars used to be in our current orbit, and look similar to our planet, with an atmosphere and liquid water, as the temperatures were roughly what we have today. Our planet was once where Venus is today. It has since moved further from the sun. Our planet will continue to get further from the sun, and be in the orbit Mars is currently in today. Earth will have cooled and lost most of its atmosphere as we know it today. Earth will roughly look like Mars and be where Mars is today in some years down the road. If w…

Hi all! I've made up an interview to help illustrate some points. I've also added the sources. Tell me what you think! Ready? I call it: Interview With An Evolutionist. Do you believe in the theory of evolution? --Yes. Do you think man evolved from apes? --Yes. Why? --Well, all the evidence that says so. What kind of evidence? --Well....like the fact there are so many similarities between apes and humans. You're right, there are similarities. Does this prove we came from apes? --Well, maybe not by itself, but it provides good evidence. Are robins and eagles similar? --I guess you could say that. Does this p…

I know I have discussed the evidence for an expanding earth in the past and got nowhere mostly because there was no explanation for the mechanism. I have been working through an explanation for it and I think I have come up with something that fits into my understanding of science. For starters you all know what particle colliders do. The take charged particles and accelerate them to as near to light speed as possible then collide them together to see what they break up into. It's known that particles will even do this naturally in the upper reaches of the atmosphere. My thoughts are if there is a way to break up subatomic particles into elementary particles. Shouldn'…

This theory likens our solar system to a light bulb with the sun being as the constant emittence of a filament and frames the Earth as a light bulb within a light, having itself a measure of constant emanation of light as well as capacity to store absorbed light from the sun. Additionally the theory frames thought to show that every heavenly body capable of producing light has atmosphere, and those objects incapable of constant light eminence have no atmosphere. ...the scientific cast of mind examines the world critically, as if many alternative worlds might exist, as if other things might be here which are not. Then we are forced to ask why what we see is present a…

The main idea of Aether Wave Theory (AWT) is, the whole Universe is composed of continuous inertial environment with infinite mass and energy density, i.e. the Aether. No other assumptions are given, therefore all consequences should follow from this introductory postulate. This corresponds the idea, the whole observable Universe is formed by dense interior of giant collapsed star, which is similar to black hole. Such environment is so dense, so that even the smallest density fluctuation here is behaving like independent particle with gravitating effects. We can imagine such matter as a condensing hot and dense particle system, similar to supercritical fluid, where al…

*cough*time dilation*cough* eh? speed of gravity is c, buddy. why does it need one? EM, Strong, and Weak forces are much greater than gravity. examples? examples? how are SR and GR incompatable? iirc, SR is a special case of GR(hence "special" relativity). what is a gedunken? nicely vague what is cyclic time? eh? how so? what exactly have you proved? that is baseless rubbish what is this supposed to mean? i've never heard of most of these buzzwords. just like creationists trying to make observations fit the bible. wrong what? none of which are predictions. more trying to make observations fit your vague rubbish HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! wrong again…

Recently, I have been researching the events of 9/11. I hadn't given it much though before, and to be honest it really didn't interest me very much. It was just a terrorist attack that endlessly plagued the news. I was outraged, of course, because all of those people died, and now we would be going to "official" war against terrorism, but that didn't change the fact that I was only 13, and none of that would ever phase me. Not so of late. I was given a couple of DVD's by my uncle, who is a powerful debater when it comes to politics and all that. I watched them and they blew my mind. I was on the edge of my seat, taking in every word carefully. For the first time…

I would appreciate any opinion (with reasons) on the following material by Pari Spolter. Accordingly, using her math forumula, she ascertains mass does not come into the calculations for determining planetary (Sun, etc.) gravity. Also calculates the moon's gravity is at least 68.71% that of Earth's. Any thoughts? See below. Her book is "Gravitational Force of the Sun" by Pari Spolter. Thanks to all who respond! The issue of the Neutral Point, that point at which the moon's gravity is equal to the Earth's gravity is this: Mainstream science says that bsed on Newton's Law of Universal Gravity and its Universal Constant based on the Earth's density of 5.5 gr/cm3 and …

Here is a space-time diagram I made by myself. I have some questions about it. In this kind of diagram, 3D Space is reduced into a single line, the horizontal white one. Time runs from down to up. The past is beneath, the present is upon the space line, and the future is above. The observator by convention sits on the center of the diagram, because he belongs to space at present time. The diagonal lines represent the Speed Of Light lines (the intersection of the light cone). As everybody knows, all the observable universe is in the past, in the lower part of the diagram. My question is quite simple: Which of the points A,B,C,D,E,F,G, are observable? As you…

It's been said that homosexual behavior is natural in the sense that it is extensively found in nature. It has been observed in: antelopes, boars, bulls, chimpanzees, cows, ducks, cats, dogs, fruit flies, geese, gorillas, gulls, horses, humans, langurs, rams, sheep, macaques, monkeys, turkeys and vervets. Homosexuality exists in proven ratios in all mammal species....It is as natural as blue eyes, left-handedness, or the genetic predisposition to walk on two legs. Whiptail lizards, (Cnemidophorus neomexicanus) found in the American southwest, are all females. They reproduce by parthenogenesis. Unfertilized eggs develop, producing an exact clone of its mother. Even though …

Time is very simple, once you get it. But “getting it” is very difficult. That’s because your current concept of time is so deeply ingrained. You form a mental map of the world using your senses and your brain. You use this mental map to think, and you are so immersed in it that you can’t see things the way they really are. You are locked into an irrational conviction that clocks run, that days pass, and that journeys take a length of time. It takes an open mind, and logic to break out of this conditioning. First of all we need to look at your senses and the things you experience. Let’s start with sight. Look at the picture below: The central portions o…

I know this is a disgusting subject but i am genuinely interested in the physiology. She has been with guys bigger than me (or doing unspeakable stuff to herself), granted, but why do the muscles involved deteriorate like this? Take the anus for example; it seems generally to be able to accomodate larger proportions but the tread always stays on the tires, as it were. It makes no sense.

I found this hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjgidAICoQI Yes, continental drift is a massive scientific conspiracy. The real answer is the earth is expanding! This video comes from Neal Adams, a former comic book artist. Wikipedia page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expanding_earth_theory

I dont know if you have ever looked inside of a computer program or built one but if you did i think you would see a microbe is very much like a program. I personally will never accept evolution, i think what happened here is some body found out about mutations then took it too far. Just about all mutations result in death, deformation, or simple nothing. Not to mention if you did have a successful mutation that benefited you doesn't go to say your children will inherit it.
