Just a question really. It is my understanding that sound is a form of energy. Why can this energy not be harnessed and converted into electricity as a form of natural energy?? Please help, this is really bugging me and i'm sure there must be a really obvious reason. Cheers.

I've been thinking about how much each little thing we do can change how things happen for someone else. As you may know, Alex Ostrovsky has just purchased the 1,000,000,000th song from Apple's iTunes service. The guy has just won a new computer, 10 iPods, and a $10,000 music card. Also, his name has been mentioned on CNN, and will probably be written in many magazines and web sites. He must feel very famous at the moment. There have been so many times when I couldn't decide if I really wanted to buy a certain song from iTunes. I will listen to the preview of a song several times, and then I decide whether to purchase it or not. It is often a difficult decision …

I had a dream somewhile ago. In this dream, I was in a city, a big city. I was driving my car around this city. Finally I come upon a goverment/state building to my right side of my car. The building was like the Congress Building in Austin, TX. Then I saw a message in the clouds saying: "Jesus is Coming. For Jesus is never wrong." Dream ended. My guess is Jesus is coming soon. When? I don't know. Only Father knows. lººk

I am starting university next year and I am having trouble on deciding what to major in; I would like to work on "discovering" new forms of energy or something that involves the discoveries or inventions that will better the environment, the lives of people in third world countries or society in general. As you can see I am very confused and would greatly appreciate the breakdown of the different majors and any advice you may have. thank you!

Male - female sibling incestuous interactions seem subject to very powerful in- built prohibitions -- no doubt for genomic reasons re- mating strategies . It seems to come about by early age male / female living in close proximity for long periods . It even happens among Israeli kibbutz children , genetically unrelated to each other but whose commonality is being raised together . Does anybody know IF it is an age related phenomenom ( sort of like imprinting ) & if not why it does not arise in older people married & living together for long periods of time . Does this suggest a genetic component rather than a cultural-sociological one ?

Go ahead and post the quote that you like the most... One who takes position first at the battleground and awaits the enemy is at ease. One who takes position later at the battleground and hastens to do battle is at labor. Thus one skilled at battle summons others and is not summoned by them. - Sun Tzu

We just got Half-Life 2, and it's really cool. We've been playing a while, and decided to see what some cheats could do. Where I look I can only find that I should either push the "~" key, or edit the short cut on the desktop and then use the "~" key in the game to bring up a console and enter in the cheats. Neither have worked, the "~" doesn't bring up a console of any type. I am running the game through "STEAM," and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the cheats .

This article was approved, then rejected for publication. The ideas expressed are not popular, but I didn't find them far-fetched or offensive, but apparently it is already the subject of controversy.
