  1. Indeed, we need to get past the idea that we can sanitise the world; with the idea that we can learn to live in a dirty world. For all my wealth, power and determination, I still have a rat and a cockroach for neighbour's.
  2. There is no guarantee the previously infected will be immune.
  3. You're going to have to make a LOT more sense. 🤒
  4. But did that occur before or after we were consciously aware of it?
  5. That certainly seems like a simple answer...
  6. There is no simple answer, money is what?
  7. Yes, but it's not womens work...
  8. We just need to accept women and men are equally important (in all their guises); not whether some women seem more masculine than some men or some men are more feminine than some women, that's a pointless dead end.
  9. Good point (it basically proves my point) but in this context, your mother/money has no value/meaning, other than how many toys you've got while your alone.
  10. We all live on a planet with unprepared people, who think money is "kinda neat" and decided health isn't quite as valuable.
  11. Time will tell, any number of things could lead to our downfall; even this post. But the probability that it's me vanishes, significantly, when one ponders "Maybe Trump's right..." I think you're confused.
  12. For once I'm glad to be a working class Brit with social issue's... 😊
  13. Culture is difficult to subvert, I guess that's why italy et al is ahead of the curve.
  14. I enjoy good banter, but that just seems like an insult (not a fan).
  15. That doesn't clear up anything. And that's just a headline... Reasonable preventitive measures are good enough (you must know them by now) to provide a break, even if the headlines are real; which, BTW, are more likely to demotivate the populous to adhere to "the reasonable preventitive measures" in favour of blind panic. Thanks for pointing it out. .. 🙄 The difference between fear and panic is a fine line to tread and headlines wear clown shoes.
  16. With a test we can be sure the horses are safe...
  17. Did not know that, it brings a new understanding to this:
  18. We won't know that moment and that's just part of the problem, because without a comprehensive local testing regime (rolled out globally), we may as well not bother testing.
  19. Now that you've summarised the reasons why this is a difficult question, perhaps you can jump off the fence and wade in with an answer.
  20. Indeed and long may it continue, I'm just concerned that our approach in this case, given our proclivity to panic and/or overreact, may lead to our downfall, given enough time and guess'
  21. Several dips into the lottery, doesn't raise the probability by much. Let's say it takes 36 months or 72, when does the bet lose money; even if you win?
  22. It does seem like we're making a rather large bet on a rather small probability...
  23. Thank you Eise, that's very constructive. I have always struggled in converting my ideas into an essay (if I'm honest a couple of paragraphs can sometimes be a challenge) so, like a blind person, I compensate with other abilities. You're never going to let that TLDR rest, are you... 😔
