The American Election is moving along expected lines. The FBI, too has joined the fray and wants to have its say. Investigating the dealings of any Presidential Candidate can be understood under only extenuating circumstances. Malintent should be avoided. What do you World citizens, especially Americans have to say?

I don't think that's how it works. Minimum-wage labor costs are not 100% of the cost of any product. Take someone flipping burgers or making subs getting an extra dollar or two per hour. They make dozens of that product in that time, so the cost is spread out. If you're serving 50 customers per hour in your fast-food restaurant and they're each spending an average of $20, that's $1000 in gross income. If your 7 person crew each gets an extra $2 for that hour, the owner is out an extra $14. Passing that on to the customer is 28 cents added to the bill. Where does it end? One group always hates the other, they can't get along. Either whites hate blacks or blacks hate white. Muslims hate christians or Christians hate muslims. There's a never ending loop, and in my personal opinion groups like BLM isn't helping. What's your opinion?

A Louisiana police chief was recently fired because of his social media criticism of the President's handling of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. According to this Washington Post article, Jonesville's police chief Skylar Dore criticized Pres. Obama in a Facebook rant for not labeling BLM protestors as terrorist after three fellow Baton Rouge officers he called "brothers" were killed by a lone gunman. Dore, who is white, was fired by Jonesville's "majority-black" town council who preside over a population that is 70% black. Can I just put it out there that I think that anyone who votes for a man who boasts about sexually assaulting women is deplorable. I can see why Clinton withdrew from the remark - it was not clever politicking - but most of us are not running for office and can be a bit more forthright in our views. Wikileaks released an email cache yesterday. This email gets rid of some of the mystery about why Clinton never released her speech transcripts. It contains several excerpts that the campaign deemed more damaging than releasing the transcripts. Do you think that it was smarter for them to keep them than to release them, or would it have worked better for them to have released them in the first place?

Just how much sway does large corporations and politics have on science and technology? I would have to say, profoundly, as well as, none whatsoever. Science without the hazards of the human element are deemed laws. Yet how those laws can be manipulated are governed usually by the investor. The Clinton White House set up a system to prevent deletion of such emails, but that system was bypassed with the private system of the Bush administration.
