Ok, here what I want to: get as much gain as possible (at least 20dB) on a 1900MHz signal. How might I accomplish there? Could I use a type of satellite dish, and more important where could I get it. Where can I get giant antennas with gains like that? Size of the antenna or dish isn't important, but cost is, let's keep it around $150 This is for my cell phone... here in the US it's on GSM1900 band, and since the US is always behind national standards, the coverage sucks. Here in miami, the coverage is excellent, but I frequently travel 50-100 miles from the nearest cell phone tower, so I'm looking to boost the signal by as much as possible with the budget…

Well I really f'ed things up this time with my gf. I bought a ring over the internet. It looked great, no problems, recieved just fine. However my gf wore it to bed and the next day she had a dark band underneath her ring. Like it stained her finger. She is so pissed and is accusing me of buying her a cheap ring. I think computr animation in movies sucks! people just over do it with animation and make movies look faker than they already are. Im not saying technology hasnt improved I mean movie like Matrix are good examples of good use of animation. But the majority of movies over do it like Dungeons & Dragons. Please understand my pain. He's a nice guy. He's a free thinker. He's a non-conformist, in a nice way. But ... ... his theories don't remotely agree with the ones that have been proven to work extremely well for the last decade to centuries past. He won't provide any hard forlumae to back them up, so it's difficult to agrue with a moving target. If you can get some formula's out of him, great, please work on them fair & square to see if they have merit. But please remember, he's a nice guy, just a little ..... odd.

Would somebody tell me that I'm not the only rational person on this topic.
