He's a nice guy. He's a free thinker. He's a non-conformist, in a nice way. But ... ... his theories don't remotely agree with the ones that have been proven to work extremely well for the last decade to centuries past. He won't provide any hard forlumae to back them up, so it's difficult to agrue with a moving target. If you can get some formula's out of him, great, please work on them fair & square to see if they have merit. But please remember, he's a nice guy, just a little ..... odd.

Would somebody tell me that I'm not the only rational person on this topic. What's up with these crazy hippies who would rather sit and let muslim fanatics destroy the world while we just wait for them to kill us? When somebody goes phsyco and peaceful negotiations don't work because somebody with nukes is threatening to use them, you have to go to war. And they had no right to drag in MLK Jr.. He was for peace. War brings peace where no peace exists. Not sitting on your butt and leading peace marches. What am I missing here? Am I the only stupid person or do others agree with me?  :feedback:

A story about sheep and fire Once upon a time, a long long time ago, there lived a sheep called Agnew who was king of the sheep. Of course this was a very long time ago when sheep were a pretty new thing and, in those days, sheep were very different. For a start, sheep had a king, which they don't nowadays living more as a sort of loose collective. Also, sheep, in those days, had no wool and they walked upright and talked and in fact were every bit as intelligent as the people of the time and, if anything, more peaceful. In actual fact, in those days it was pretty hard to distinguish sheep from people unless you asked them or talked to them for some time. Agnew, as has…

Once, when I was making pancakes for breakfast, I decided that since pancake batter is gooey and marshmellows are too then both should go together. Just put some miniture marshmellows into the top of the batter after pouring it on the gridle and when you flip the pancake over, the marshmellows disintegrate ! Flip the pancakes onto your plate with the marshmellow side facing up, and add some: 1. whip cream with strawberries or 2. syrup (strawberry, maple, blueberry, chocolate, etc.) Down your delicious waffle pancakes with a tall glass of Nesquick (none of that Ovaltine shit) and a couple of multi vitamins (to helps to reduce the severity of the acne yo…

...to make this more user-friendly? We were thinking about merging forums, but how far should we take this? Should all physics forums be under just "physics"? And all mathematical forums just be under "math"? Or leave some seperate.. We were also going to change the main page. I was thinking about taking off the active topics and replacing it with links to the general forums (chem, math, physics, etc..). Active topics make it easy to follow a thread, but there are other ways. Also thinking about adding a philosophy forum, since a lot of posts would fit under this catagory. Give us your suggestions...

Ever watch The Matrix? Ever wondered if t is really real? What if it is? I'm here to present a proposition to you for everyone to chew on and think about, since our future is in the hands of robots. The Matrix do exist. Do you know how I know? I wont tell you everything but I'll give you the short story. Geromne B. Heuws was a scientist working for the U.S. CIA. He was studying parallel dimmensions when he came upon something odd. He had discovered a break in space. What he had actually stumbled upon was the real world outside of this Matrix. So the government killed him. To cover up for this, they made a movie called The Matrix to cover up any questions that the …

Once upon a time their was a perverted killer whale actor named Willie. He lived happily in Hollywood. He even made 5 continuous Free Willie episodes! Everybody from the ages of 1-3 loved his movies. He was a hit. That is when all the punks out there got together and decided to pollute the ocean in an attempt to kill Willie and stop his box office productions. So he died. Please don't pollute the ocean. All we have nowadays is Barney and he pisses me off

Please forgive me is this isn't in the proper place....(like general disc. or biochem, or something like astro phys.). I have recently read about this super computer (when I say super, I mean super) called the Earth Simulator...I'll have more details on monday, when I am able type at leisure.....(time limit over here). But, anyway, It's capable of 70 something trillion calcs. per (either second or minute). It's called the Earth Simulator and is able to predict the climate conditions of Earth up to 1000 years. Originally, they wanted to make something that could predict the economical and ecological status of Earth in the future, so far, they only accomplished the Eco …
