I have to do an interview for a biology project and i haven't started, so i am resorting to anything i think that has the slightest chance of working. After i make this post its time to open up the phone book and start calling people You need to be a scientist to answer these questions, something like forensics, a doctor, anything that has to do with life or something like that. Besides school I play tennis, guitar, work out, akido club, fish, work on my car. I'm also into photography and video producing; mostly skateboard related. Oh, and I insult faf's school for fun. How about you guys?

Once, when I was making pancakes for breakfast, I decided that since pancake batter is gooey and marshmellows are too then both should go together. Just put some miniture marshmellows into the top of the batter after pouring it on the gridle and when you flip the pancake over, the marshmellows disintegrate ! Flip the pancakes onto your plate with the marshmellow side facing up, and add some: 1. whip cream with strawberries or 2. syrup (strawberry, maple, blueberry, chocolate, etc.) Down your delicious waffle pancakes with a tall glass of Nesquick (none of that Ovaltine shit) and a couple of multi vitamins (to helps to reduce the severity of the acne yo…

...to make this more user-friendly? We were thinking about merging forums, but how far should we take this? Should all physics forums be under just "physics"? And all mathematical forums just be under "math"? Or leave some seperate.. We were also going to change the main page. I was thinking about taking off the active topics and replacing it with links to the general forums (chem, math, physics, etc..). Active topics make it easy to follow a thread, but there are other ways. Also thinking about adding a philosophy forum, since a lot of posts would fit under this catagory. Give us your suggestions...

What would you guys do if you were given ultimate athority over everything on this planet? I would have an instant world reform and since I would want to see it happen during my life, I would kill (maybe not kill. more like send to brainwash reform camps)anyone who was against me joining all countries into one huge world-wide nation. Kinda like Corosant in Star Wars. On huge planetary city. What would you guys do?........:feedback:

Ever watch The Matrix? Ever wondered if t is really real? What if it is? I'm here to present a proposition to you for everyone to chew on and think about, since our future is in the hands of robots. The Matrix do exist. Do you know how I know? I wont tell you everything but I'll give you the short story. Geromne B. Heuws was a scientist working for the U.S. CIA. He was studying parallel dimmensions when he came upon something odd. He had discovered a break in space. What he had actually stumbled upon was the real world outside of this Matrix. So the government killed him. To cover up for this, they made a movie called The Matrix to cover up any questions that the …

Once upon a time their was a perverted killer whale actor named Willie. He lived happily in Hollywood. He even made 5 continuous Free Willie episodes! Everybody from the ages of 1-3 loved his movies. He was a hit. That is when all the punks out there got together and decided to pollute the ocean in an attempt to kill Willie and stop his box office productions. So he died. Please don't pollute the ocean. All we have nowadays is Barney and he pisses me off

Please forgive me is this isn't in the proper place....(like general disc. or biochem, or something like astro phys.). I have recently read about this super computer (when I say super, I mean super) called the Earth Simulator...I'll have more details on monday, when I am able type at leisure.....(time limit over here). But, anyway, It's capable of 70 something trillion calcs. per (either second or minute). It's called the Earth Simulator and is able to predict the climate conditions of Earth up to 1000 years. Originally, they wanted to make something that could predict the economical and ecological status of Earth in the future, so far, they only accomplished the Eco …

Not quite James Bonds' Car (for those of you who have seen the new one), but kind of cool nontheless. It works by projecting an image of whats behind the object onto the object itself. The interesting part is that the projected image only reflects off certain material. Since it doesn't reflect off skin, it tricks the eye into thinking the obect is almost see-through. Setup: Videos here: Mirror.mpg (915k) oc-s.mpg (1.26M) oc-phantom.mpg (1.66M) ------------------------------------ I'm still waiting for the army to show off their research into the real stuff. I read about a suit being developed that projects whats behi…

Awhile back my friend showed me something I could do in my microwave to produce artificial "ball lightning". I'm not sure thats what this is, but its pretty neat. Anyhow, I captured the thing on video. I modified the original experiment by putting a jar over the toothpick in order to capture the ball lightning so its lifespan is longer (and because i was afraid of what it was doing to the microwave). Without the jar, the ball is instantly sucked into the vent and disappears with a crackling sound. I only let it run for maybe 2 or 3 seconds because it heats the jar extremely quickly. I don't want to have to deal with shattered glass in the microwave. Anyhow, heres a th…

Just had to share my horrendous experience so others may be forewarned: To: feedback@amazon.com When shopping from a merchant with as good a reputation as Amazon, I expected a certain level of service. When I ordered my cell phone, I mis-entered the address. So I can change it right? No. There was no way to change it. I e-mailed help, guess what they told me? To change it the same way the help file said to. Am I an idiot!? Would I send an e-mail explicitly saying that was not working if it was? I e-mailed them back, and was told I could send them the address and they would do it manually. Except support was too incompetent to even see the change I wanted made, …
