  1. All I can promise is a single malt.
  2. Can I play?
  3. I don't know, can you avoid being biased?
  4. I think the same was true of Buddha and what's also (probably) true is, those who were taught well enough to achieve enlightenment/understanding went on to add too the wisdom. But as I said, prophet's are rare, and only they can break the convention. Here's a thought of a friend of mine: And I think a fixed resilient language is key, as I think the prophet Muhammad recognised, in the way the he sought to freeze the language of the Quran.
  5. No, religion is just the culture within which the politicians ply their trade.
  6. I only feel sorry for those who aren't content with what they find.
  7. In a very real sense, my only legitimacy exists in your eye's; an ism just seeks to blind us.
  8. A stick in a termite mound, kept them alive... 😉 Causality suggests you're talking bollox...
  9. Why would dead people improve the present plan? Unless we need lots of bones to feed the dogs plan...
  10. What is true for you, is not true for me. Some people need a god/ist to explain and some need a physicist; it all boils down too, whatever floats your boat; the point of the thread is, we don't need to sink their boat in order to aid the buoyancy of ours.
  11. Then the wise choice is, enjoy the warmth before it gets too much; that's the point of the book's. It means that this: shows that you don't understand your knowledge of people, or your ancestors; have a little respect...
  12. What does a particle actually look like? Imagine a stone that's much smaller than a mountain?
  13. Why? And how to be happy (wrong word) with that.
  14. I think that's the best you're going to get; someone who doesn't get into the national team, is unworthy...
  15. Now you're missing my point, technology is not the same as ancient wisdom. Do you think that corresponds to, a wise choice? For instance, in order to make biodegradable plastic's for Europe, vast tracks of land in Madagascar are turned into monocultural farm's.
  16. The world is to big a word, unless preficed by our; our big mistake is to assume that either side holds all the answer's.
  17. At least the one's worth remembering...
  18. Because someone else wants it, which only work's with a full belly and somewhere dry to sleep...
  19. You're missing the point of the books, science deals with technology, which advance's, and Moses deals with emotion which is much the same. Imagine a world where technology is happy for us? Now imagine a world where happy is the wrong word to use...
  20. It only has value while your computer can remember it.
  21. Then you may as well believe that god-did-it...
  22. It's only a problem in multi-variable logic.
