Is Suicide right or wrong?
Because, from time to time we all get sad...😪

Some people NEED to lose their good qualities eternally
You can't force a choice, you can only persuade; and you're trying to get shot of your good qualities? You can only accept who chooses you, but you'll find; the nicer you are, the finer the choice... 😉

Some people NEED to lose their good qualities eternally
You're going to have to make a lot more sense than that, if you want to discuss (what ever the question is)...

I wasn't thinking that.

paradoxes in nature (split from Can infinities exist in nature?)
It mean's what the feck, as in what father Ted says (and he's a catholic priest), what do you think it means?

paradoxes in nature (split from Can infinities exist in nature?)
WTF are you talking about?

Can infinities exist in nature?
Except what you're saying is, it's infinite because it's infinite (I'm duty bound to point that out). 😉 Seems to me that infinite is just another way to say "I don't know". I think a more interesting question would be, can a paradox exist in nature? Then the answer to my question is yes, but only in people.

Why would an athiest not believe in religion?
You're kinda proving my point... Einstein for instance, do you believe in his explanation of time?
-
Why would an athiest not believe in religion?
Most athiests only attack the concept of a god, rather than a critique of the human understanding of what is written, and understood at the time a religion is inspired. What makes a religion? Science works today because it's well understood, it doesn't follow that it will be tomorrow.

mereotopological physical chemistry
Wouldn't a knowledge of word's lead to more understanding?

Are gender differences in personality traits mostly due to culture or biological differences? (Split from “choose gender option”)
Perhaps one, happy is the wrong word to use. Yet some of us question our culture, isn't that instinctive?

“I have studied these things – you have not”
Isn't it obvious? Yeah, that's not it... Indeed, but you have done both; the soul is life and a sarcophagus is the empty shell of what was alive...

How can we survive this century?
I think Ricky's the third mouse (It could be argued that Ricky isn't even the lazy mouse, all he does is take the piss out of farmer's...), in that he's the problem. If we're to last out the century we need to embrace the lazy mouse, not just accept them. A job for the sake of a job doesn't make sense in the context of an economy that's clearly unsustainable; one countries unilateral decision to be good and play nice is never going to work when the hungry mouse is still hungry, eventually they will just try and steal the food, by killing the industrious mouse; instead of spending all that money, time and effort defending, more food than we can eat. If we want a balanced sustainable society/economy, don't pressgang the lazy into work because "the lazy" will always find a way; and being lazy doesn't mean they have nothing to contribute, even if it's only being a friend. Isn't that a little too late?

How can we survive this century?
I'm not being a doom-merchant here, I think we are capable (For instance, this current emergency (pandemic) has taught us that our economy is capable of dealing with a change of circumstances, while simultaneously demonstrating our propensity to act too late.) Should we feed "the lazy mouse"?

Has Ockham's Razor become blunt in the last 700 years ?
Perhaps, but if the old equipment still works; what we need is "equipment"...

Has Ockham's Razor become blunt in the last 700 years ?
It seems to me his message was, at what point are you satisfied with my answer; rather than your assumption of what the answer should be...

Has Ockham's Razor become blunt in the last 700 years ?
But as it pertains to the intention of the OP, one's understanding of Occam's Razor, is necessary before this thread becomes a source of understanding. Edit: cross-posted with Eise
