What books are recommended for the Computer Science student community? I am in my second semester and I would like to be prepared for the next couple of years that I still have ahead of me.

  3. Hello, I recently bought a KT-401 Air Ion Tester to detect ions in the air. I want to find a way to connect the device in some way to my computer so my computer can receive the ion count, where I can then have the code automatically determine an outcome based off of the number. The problem is, the device itself doesn't have any ports. Is there any way I can connect the device to my computer and have my computer be able to receive the code?

Greetings. My compfuser stopped navigating the net by 00:00 GMT on 01 Oct. 8 of 10 web sites reported : Few web sites did work and showed up normally. Tried fixes shown on the web that claimed being a simple failure; two did nothing, a third fixed this DNS thing. Am back to 'normal' I do not care what is the nature of the repair; I would like to know what causes such. Was working normal and later, something changed. And I did not do anything or tweaked or downloaded or changed settings. What event caused it, came from where ? Altered my equipment for what reason ? How did it get into effect ? Where did it come from ? On Firef…

Hello guys. I am in need of some help. I have a PDF file that contains 100 tests (they are divided into 3 parts: A, B and C). How can I create another PDF that contains only the A part from each test? I found some tutorials with Python, but the thing is I don't really know how to use it. Thank you in advance :) I'm sorry for the grammatical mistakes :) #stillLearning

In computer science how do you go from 1's and 0's to the different data types such as int, float, double, Boolean, etc? It is all just an upper level of abstraction? Is is a function at the lower functional hardware level of the computer? Does it somehow deal with the different flags in the hardware/software level boundary(do not know how else to put that)? Thank you for your responses.

I have discovered bff fuzzer, and get along very well with him. But it also gives a lot of errors and can not test many programs. I wanted to ask if you know some alternatives that are automatic. (please do not write the standard fuzzer like afl radamsa etc but which really run automatically) or which you use for buffer overflowing.

  13. Hello, I was wondering whether Kali OS or Parrot OS is better in 2021. I was pursuing a Cyber Security course and the trainers were recommending me to go with parrot OS, as this is the most trending and advanced OS for hacking in the year 2021. But I am more familiar with Kali and the tools available in Kali. So, if I shift from kali to parrot, what all things shall I consider? Also, can I continue using kali instead of Parrot?

I've been having a persistent problem for over a year now. Every time I download something from multiple (40+) peers, my whole system starts lagging fiercely, the cooling fans run berserk and I can hardly control my mouse. It only happens when there are many connections, like in Windows Update or when I download bittorrent files/content (all legal of course!). I've tried updating my LAN and mouse drivers many times. Doesn't help. I've also googled it countless times, but no help there either. Is there any system files, that manages connections, that could be corrupt? I run Windows 10 Home on a Lenovo 81HN V130 i5 laptop.

  17. Greetings. The flag bearer of computer idiots again. Get the DNS probe error in a Chromebook. Before was also in the Linux machine. Power cycling all several times allowed me to enter the internet to post this. There is nothing Windows in my home. There is nothing wireless in my home. Have three ethernet wired devices to the gateway (modem?): A Linux computer; a Chromebook computer, a tuner that receives internet television from the whole planet. Most of the time all works well, but something gets the 'period' and I cannot solve what cannot understand. Reading related articles on the web; they assume everyone uses Windows+Chrome+Wifi and do not apply …

Hi, I am in the process of completing my 3rd Year university project and I am required to create a table to consolidate my findings. However, I have been researching into different tables and I am struggling to find a table that will clearly encompass all of the information I need to display. I need to cover 9 different elements including 6 headings, a column of different values (each needs to be taken into consideration) and within the data itself I need to display 2 different elements in the same value cell with possible overlap when dealing with each dependant value. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, is it possible to have search’s I never made show up in my google history? My data from the google servers showed explicit searches, which I have never made. How could this happen, maybe hacking, malware or a iv got parts of some else’s search’s. Any advice or solutions would be great. Google don’t have customer services so I’m left clueless thanks

I did an avira virus scan and even an online set scan and malwarebytes and everything came back negative. 24. I want to choose an area to work on for my dessertation for computer science. But due to time constraints I need to work in one of the below fields where I would not struggle to find my dataset. Which of these fields eases my task to find datasets: 1- Educational data mining e.g. Learning analytics for higher education 2- Mining data on social media e.g. (Twitter, Facebook) 3- social media content analysis. I would really appreciate your help, even if its a correction or suggestion.
