My idea is that if the evolutionary theory is correct, and that their are planets that can support life, that the dominant species of those planets would be reptilian. The reason I say this is because scientists say that reptiles and dinosaurs were the most dominant on this planet before the mass extinction by the comet or volcanic eruption. If a different planet had went through the evolutionary steps as earth did, and didn't have a mass extinction, then reptiles would be the most dominant species. I was thinking about what would it be like to see and what would happen if a really large body, like an mostly iron core asteroid hit the moon. First if the asteroid was in the few tens of miles range would it just be a fireworks show with nothing to worry about or would it be an earth shattering event? Would the debris impact the earth I guess is the question. I have two questions, first i want to know if there is anything else other than atoms that can fill up empty space, for example if i have an empty bag, with nothing in it, can it be filled with photons, electrons, or something else? second, if you have an empty bag, but there is a mechanical apparatus that expands the bag, what will the empty space be filled with?

Given that local spacetime is flat, there should be no possible way to measure any curvature at a single point. With no curvature, there is no gravitation. If a mass can be a point mass, it would need observations or measurements of spacetime from multiple locations in order to determine any curvature and be affected by it (eg. gravitational attraction). The minimal spatial extent of a mass must include multiple spatial points of observation (as in a particle with size, or multiple point particles somehow combined and sharing information, or a single point particle making observations from different locations). Is this a sound argument?

What if, and bear with me here, the reason that physics breaks down when you look at smaller particles, is because those particles do not represent the forces your trying to calculate. What I mean is, we know that the photon represents ElectroMagnetic energy (light waves) and were pretty sure there is a particle that represents gravity etc. it makes sense that when your looking at *other* particles on the same scale, they would not be affected by those laws of physics.
