Speculations Forum Rules

The Speculations forum is provided for those who like to hypothesize new ideas in science. To enrich our discussions above the level of Wild Ass Guesswork (WAG) and give as much meaning as possible to such speculations, we do have some special rules to follow:

  1. Speculations must be backed up by evidence or some sort of proof. If your speculation is untestable, or you don't give us evidence (or a prediction that is testable), your thread will be moved to the Trash Can. If you expect any scientific input, you need to provide a case that science can measure.
  2. Be civil. As wrong as someone might be, there is no reason to insult them, and there's no reason to get angry if someone points out the flaws in your theory, either.
  3. Keep it in the Speculations forum. Don't try to use your pet theory to answer questions in the mainstream science forums, and don't hijack other threads to advertise your new theory.

The movement of a thread into (or out of) Speculations is ultimately at the discretion of moderators, and will be determined on a case by case basis.

I have given a prediction that can be tested by the experiment that I have designed. Once again, I predict that when I create a true vortex it will cancel earth's gravity in a halo around itself. The intensity of the vortex or mesotron will determine the size of the halo. And there was no big bang, just a fairly smooth transition from pre-atomic energy to atomic energy.

I understand your need for mathematical proof. With all due respect, I believe you already have the math you need to understand the initial vortexes of my hypothesis. It is Einstein's math that, by the way, is the same math you reversed in time to come up with the big bang concept. Instead of an explosion creating atomic matter, Einstein's direction in time would have created collapsing and condensing of clouds of energy particles being forced toward atomic, star, spiral galaxy, and quasar ignitions. (mesotron solves the unified field theory puzzle). Sadly, I cannot mathematically prove mesotron ,but I can visualize it because I see it everywhere in NASA and other ima…

  4. Hi have finally wrote the essay for science paper . Your thoughts would be appreciated a lot. This is thought experiment in which light clocks - stationary and moving will have very unusual feature-adjustable length between mirrors A and B. Light clock with adjustable distance between mirrors will provide better look at understanding Of time dilation. Picture 1 The distance Lo(picture 1) is distance between mirrors. The distance Lo will be calculated and adjusted from two components : Speed of light C and distance of L= 3x10e8m a…

Can the expansion of the universe be explained in terms of time dilation? If we accept observational evidence at face value, it appears that all the matter and energy in the universe was originally confined to an extremely small space. Would the extremely high density of the early observable universe not lead logically to a universe that, given the initiation of expansion, expands at an accelerating (but also uneven) rate in accordance with the distribution of matter and energy in space? Where there is less gravity, time moves faster, right? So wouldn't it make sense that the cosmic voids would expand at a faster and faster rate relative to the galactic cen…

Are there some specific evolutionary advantages to religiosity or did it simply evolve as a byproduct of the higher cognitive functions? I'm asking because all premodern societies (and a significant portion of modern ones) were religious in one way or another.

  7. I watched "The Phenomenon" last night, I have to say it was the best UFO documentary I've seen. It blowed my former fav out of the water and then some. It had lots of footage of people who ere involved back in the day and other footage I had never seen. I thought I'd pretty much seen them all but this one resets the bar. It really too bad it's not on youtube so we could go through it by timestamp, lots of interesting things to discuss! I would ask anything here who wants to discuss the UFO subject to watch this video, really great stuff and relatively unbiased, "just the Facts ma'am" (vague TV reference, Dragnet"

Observing pedestrian crossing the street - thought experiment. The experiment is split in three systems: System 1 There is two pedestrians at position A. Pedestrian 1 is moving at speed of v1=1m/s and goes to position B and return backwards to position A. The distance d1=2m time t1=2sec speed v1 is constant. This is all observed by non moving pedestrian 2. System 2 The pedestrian 1 is not moving. The road is moving at speed of v2=1 m/s The pedestrian 1 moves from point A to point E. the distance d2=2 m Time t2=2s The speed v2 =1 m/s is constant Th…

  9. Is Wikipedia reliable? i keep hearing that since everyone can edit it, its not a good place to get information. You see, if anyone can edit a page/article at any time then if anything changes then it can be fixed. While a normal britannica article for example cant be changed (at least not easily) after it has been made. And yes, i am aware that companies can edit wikipedia too- but so what? You can always edit it back. I really dont see companies changing an article about abraham lincoln or anything like that. what are your thoughts, am i forgetting something?

  10. Speculation: So one thing I observe is that everything is so "fresh and new". We are not hampered by anything from the past. This makes sense as according to modern theory everything came from an "infinite point" and evolved over billions of years. So in effect this is a new "time". The question is were there any previous "times". According to Roger Penrose (scientist), this universe is born from the collapse of a previous one. In effect there is an eternal cycle of expansion and contraction. The question is were there were any "earth worlds" previously in time? And if so were they more connected to that of previous times? For us we are not connected to previous…

The calculations used for a) just two orbital objects had to reintegrate the lagrange coordinate (gravitational equilibrium between them) in order to continuously adjust the derivative for the same reason that b) the 3 body problem or even c) the theory of expansion, were posed in the first place. Point a) As you move about in the z plane not only does gravity's effects at a distance (dz/dt) have to be recalibrated (the gravitational constant as an integral of the inverse square law), but also the curvature of space has to be accounted for, that is because space is curved and not flat. I was exposed to the same amount of algebra and trig that Newton …

  12. Hello! I'm new to this forum. I have an idea that could be the simplest explanation of the accelerating expansion of the universe. I've described my idea in my blog and I report it here below. I would like to know your opinions on this idea. The simplest cause of the accelerating expansion of the universe I have an idea that could be the simplest explanation of the accelerating expansion of the universe. I'm surprised that I've never found such a simple explanation anywhere on the Internet. My idea is born from the fact that in the center of almost all the galaxies there is a super massive black hole. The objects near the black hole have a spiral mo…

Are papers allowable as starting points for discussion on this forum? I experience tremendous bias in science forums favoring peer-reviewed concepts and a lack of open-mindedness toward fresh ideas. I recently wrote a paper and published it on ResearchGate to explain my mathematically supported physics insights. As part of my research, I even developed a new system of units based on the concept of distributed charge and the concept that there are two quantifiable types of charges: electrostatic and magnetic. Through these enhanced physics tools, I have demonstrated how the Relativity equations are easily expressed as fluid Aether equations. More importantly, my…

  16. Imagine a Toroid spinning like a wheel in its plane, and also twisting in the cross-section. Now imagine it spinning at the speed of light. A travelling wave on this geometry will go faster than light even though none of the Toroid is going faster than light. Travelling waves of smaller and smaller wavelength can be added on top of the first travelling wave, and there is no limit to the amount of smaller waves that can be added. I call this the Holonomic Toroid. It doesn't disprove Bell's inequalities, but it is a geometry that can be engineered to accomplish the superposition space. Bohm thought of this possibility but didn't imagine a geometry that can accomplish it. Th…

Introduction to the Theory of Unity At the heart of contemporary physics lies a quest for a Theory of Unity—a framework that reconciles the seemingly disparate realms of quantum mechanics (QM) and general relativity (GR), offering a coherent description of the universe at all scales. This theory aspires to bridge the gap between the quantum world, characterized by probabilistic outcomes and entanglement, and the macroscopic realm of spacetime curvature described by Einstein’s theory of general relativity. The pursuit of such a theory is not merely an academic endeavor; it represents a profound philosophical inquiry into the nature of reality itself. Quant…

This is a continuation of ideas that I have posted in this forum a while back with some mathematics and new outlook added to strengthen my arguments.for those not familiar with those ideas it's appropriate they revisit my previous posts in the forum since I will be using some information/diagrams from them, you will have to be patient with this thread. I will use the diagram above as a foundation of my arguments, since am not good at latex, mathematics to Back up the ideas, will be handwritten photos, after all math is math.

  20. Is Einstein's theory of relativity able of solving the twin paradox? When the traveling twin turns around to reach Earth, it observes a blueshift of the light emitted by Earth instantaneously, not after some time. This seems to suggest that the blueshift arises from the twin's own acceleration and therefore its own motion through ether, not from the apparent movement of Earth relative to it. The Earth, on the other hand, must wait for the blueshifted light from the traveling twin to reach it at the speed of light. This seems to indicate that the observational symmetry of special relativity is not physical, but that there might be an underlying asymmetry as proposed by Lo…

A general "rant" about Time Galatic Time A universe where different environments exist on different planets as opposed to different environments existing in different countries on 1 planet. Key to a galatic time is transportation. Previous to a true galatic time there would need to be exploration and discovery. And previous to this discovery and invention of transportation vehicles themselves. Galatic time would be a time / universe which would be kinder to travel in space. (Assuming space is the key medium for transportation). How would one travel between different planets / star systems? Would everything have to be close together? Would we travel at "light spe…

  22. Greetings, fellow explorers of the physics! I am excited to share my latest work, “The Multi-2D Informational Timeverse Theory: Integrating Information Theory with General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics to Unveil the Arrow of Time.” This thesis proposes a groundbreaking framework that redefines our understanding of the universe through the lens of information, seeking to bridge the longstanding divide between General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics while exploring the fundamental nature of time itself. This work introduces the Multi-2D Universe model, a bold new approach that envisions our universe as a projection of 2D informational planes, offering fresh in…

Looking for some intelligent thought about this: Been looking at online video's to update my knowledge about such things as the Big Bang, exploration in the universe, the concept of time etc. I come back to where we are now. I am aware there is ongoing space exploration going on but on the off chance that all of this becomes fruitless what is the summary? What we know for sure is this planet - the trees, ocean, animals, life, sun etc. We are secretly optimistic that we will "find" something that will extend the reign of humanity in time. But as the years pass and there is a lack of any new discovery we are left with how special this planet actually is. …

  24. I would like to share my research and hear your opinion. Abstract Based on his own experience of lucid and ordinary dreams, the author conducted a study to establish the possibility of obtaining new and previously unknown information from a dream, which can then be verified in reality, or information about future events that cannot be predicted in advance. It has been established that dreams can be deciphered as a symbolic language based on subconscious associations and contain the main meaning and emotional component of future events that cannot be predicted in any other way and which cannot be influenced. And lucid dreams can sometimes convey such events absolu…

Edge theory emerged from a 42 year quest to create a Unified Field Theo/logy by combining 4 core dualities we observe in our experienced Universe. Imagine a single biological cell transforming into a real 3d caterpillar, and the caterpillar then transforming into a real 3d butterfly. In the exact same way, Edge theory proposes a mathematically rigorous process where the torus above transforms into a toroidal c/ell with its own DNA. This toroidal c/ell divides, just like a biological cell, an Infinite number of times, into an Infinite number of copies of itself. J…
