Hi guys, I am in sunny California where oranges grow on trees in people's yards and evidently it never really rains! I flew out here to see my son and grandchild and help them get their house upacked and set up. 

My dad died days before I arrived andIfound out I had inherited al of his properties... Sort of... But he didn't leave a will so everything is in "probate" and all his properties will be sold to settle his debts and I have to make sure this gets done. 

I named my son executor of his estate, my son volunteered btw. 

I feel like I went on vacation only to find the sword of damacles floating over my head.

Began tapping trees for making syrup. Today we tapped five Silver Maple and eight Black Walnut trees. Later this week we'll tap about 10 Black Maple trees.

Bad news, my step mom suffered a home invasion, not only did they beat her up they burned down her house. Onlookers were able to drag her out of the house. To make matters worse my dad died, I'm having problems getting information at this time since my step mom and my dad were my only source of info...

So we decided to relax a little after a busy month...baught new tires, we drove 490km one way to the seaside today (300 miles for the impared) to an airBnB place which is awesome, 300m form the seaside right at the main street at a resort (Sopot). Our 3 year old had a mild caugh when we were leaving, we consulted our pediatritian before we left and he said its a great idea to get him seaside air. So Peter decided to throw up all over the goddamn apartment a couple times and dance around after that. No fever, just a nasty caugh (I’ve had the same thing when I was a kid) Hes falling asleep right now and Im having whiskey. We also just found out that we cant stay the second planned night here so Im off to drive the 300 miles tomorow when I get sober. Wifey is pissed because she got her bra all over in vomit.

I've paid off my non-existent student loan! Whoo hoo! Party at my house!!!! (I.E. I just passed having enough money saved up that my entire college education is paid for in advance).
