  2. The selfish ass gatekeepers don't want you to know this but I do and so do the ancients, Earth was knocked off its old axis and into its current wobble just 12,400 years ago, if you believe millions of Elephants thrived on the Arctic Ocean coast of Siberia and Alaska during an Ice Age you've been duped. "The Pole Shift that Sank Atlantis, Message from the Ancients". The Hawaiian islands have now changed direction parallel to the equator as always!

  3. My reason for appearing here, was, a little over a week ago, I had posted a question on the Stirling Engine Forum I frequent: There was no response. So I thought perhaps the knowledgeable folks on this or another Science forum might have some input. I don't think I've received an unequivocal answer. Perhaps the equation can't be used because this engine doesn't behave in the expected way, and something about steam tables and not having a glacier or something along those lines. Would anyone else like to offer an opinion? Maybe just an ordinary heat engine? So treat it as such? T hot = ambient T cold = freezer so W should work out to be? Plu…

  4. That's the problem really. I think I must genuinely believe Tesla made a valid point in his 1900 article about his "Self Acting Engine". I've gone too far down that rabbit hole to turn back. Every experiment I've tried so far to prove his contention wrong has only proven him right, as far as I'm able to assertion. Running my Stirling heat engine without a heat sink, for example. It just ran faster, better and longer.

  5. As someone who is pro-education and anti-superstition, I do still think this is a matter of human nature. This is my personal perspective based on my personal online research. Both religion and, seemingly, these conspiracy theories like QAnon, disproportionally affect women, and women score higher on theory of mind and score lower on measures of autism. Theory of mind is correlated with religiosity (+ToM, -IQ). Theory of mind, measured via facial expressions, is thought to involve the ability to infer hidden motives (and "conspiracies" I suppose). And my personal speculation: The correlation of religiosity with ToM seems to be reinforced by the many correlations sha…

Why does SpaceX lie about everything? Here is an example: This is a flat out lie. Falcon Heavy total thrust is 3.4million lbs sealevel. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falcon_Heavy Space Shuttle total thrust was 6.78million lbs sea level. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle And the lies don't stop there. Will someone please tell me why SpaceX lies? SpaceX's biggest rocket is almost 1/3rd the thrust needed to match SaturnV. SaturnV came it at a whopping 9.2million lbs total thrust. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn_V SpaceX isn't close to getting anyone to the moon.

  7. Seems to be an overlooked problem. Rockets are meant to operate in "0G". Sort of. There are solutions to this problem not present in your design. The only thing keeping everything downstream in your design is gravity itself.

  8. So what happens when you have to build an actual ramp and it doesn't look flat at all? The ability to abstract is the point of all education. Generalization is the goal of mathematics. Some things are more easily understood if not abstracted or generalized but then how are you any better than a sheep herder counting stones to keep track of all his sheep? A sheep herder would never make it to the Moon. Remember. Egyptian mathematics was binary based and ingeniously simple for mental calculations. Look what they accomplished with it. Absolutely nothing. The pyramids got us as close to powering a light bulb as it did to getting us to the …

  9. I think a saucer has as much relationship to anything as my idea of blowing smoke rings will make a toroidal plasma magnetic bottle work. I.E. not at all related. Just because something looks related (a smoke ring looks like a toroid) doesn't mean it'll make a more efficient torus. The work in a fusion reactor (mathematically) happens mostly in a small part of a torus and looks like a banana. Does that mean I should throw bananas into my reactor to improve its yield? I personally don't think wormholes are at all practical and is stupid waste of braincells. "Throw your self into a blender. Because your blended self contains all the s…

  10. If I had a choice of flying on an airplane in turbulence with screaming babies or a crackling tesla coil that moves like a wobbly hoverboard....I'd choose the f-ing jet engine. OK? Technology is people dependent. I don't want to sail a submarine on hydrogen peroxide either. Sure it's fantastically better physics. But it explodes easily. Which is why the Russians called such submarines cigarette lighters and the UK sailors literally named theirs "the Exploder". Neither Navies continued the effort because people wouldn't put up with them. So your ionocraft is a waste of time. No one wants to fly to see Grandma in a Faraday c…

Many of your points are valid. However, many are standard Royal Society armchair recitals of current beliefs which are the same as ancient beliefs. I noted that you did not mention Benjamin Franklin, the other side of the coin, the man who started science on earth. A man whose inventions were better in many ways than even Tesla's inventions due to a basic understanding of the universe. The Royal society laughed at old Benjamin Franklin for thirty minutes, as his letter about static electricity and lightning being the same was read by a friend who knew of Benjamin Franklin's working lightning rods. They claimed he was spouting off. They challenged him to fly a kite i…

  12. Magnetically levitated bearings would be excellent in space where lubricants in a vacuum tend not to work because they evaporate as if they were extremely hot. Metal-to-metal interaction can create abnormal heat and wear because there are very few air molecules between the metal parts, not as there would be on earth. Even substances like Teflon may malfunction in space where friction is involved. The only problem I see is that magnetic fields can interfere with insulation materials, nullifying their ability to contain electrical charges completely. If electrical contacts near the magnetic field are insulated and covered in metal and bonded to the ship, it should not cause…

  13. Yes there are Genes in the human Genome which influence human sexual orientation. And yes hormones(Neurosteroids) change the epigenetic mechanism of the brain and body. I am extremly suffering under my sexual orientation. My face is the living truth, that sexual orientation has a biolocal explanation. And btw I habe exome sequenced(80x) my Genome. I also have full genome sequenced my genome(50x). And 3 times genotyped by 23andme. There is 100% certain that biological there is some flawed in my case. Sexual orientation is neurobiological, genetic and or epigenetic organized.

  14. I cannot convince myself that Democrats are/will be doing much better than the former republican one . Democrats & Republicans both are either directly or indirectly almost always playing into the hands of corporate America + Wall Street. During the process of electing Obama , especially the 2nd term , much interest and enthusiasm was aroused for doing something in favor of a semi-radical reform to return America back to some simulacrum of normalcy : especially over the issue of abject poverty // but also over the slavery that is called a lifetime job or a long-life job. Then you see what Obama did to all those crowds of truly willing young people ? He simply told …

  16. Following Occam's razor, the Wuhan lab leak hypothesis is the most logical explanation for the origin of Covid 19 at this point. More and more scientists are going on record in support of this hypothesis. There was a great piece in Politico back in March about it. The WHO will never be truly objective, due to political influence from China, and it seems somewhat of a taboo subject in the scientific community writ large (due in large part to the politicization of the hypothesis and other conflicts of interest). It's entirely logical that a respiratory pathogen with this level of infectiousness might accidentally find its way out into the surrounding area.

  18. In fact, gravity an anti-scientific hypothesis, since action at a distance is rejected by true science There is still evidence of the falsity of gravity, it seems this antithesis was put forward by Galileo. If there was gravity, then 2 objects of different gravity, connected between them, would fall more slowly, because a lighter object would slow down a heavier one. Consequently, an increase in mass both accelerates and slows the fall. This is contradiction.

  19. The American nation is rightfully considered the guarantor of human rights and freedoms in the world. Why doesn't US interfere in the affairs of Afghanistan and China, on the genocide of the Hazaras and Uighurs? As far as I know, there is no official US position on these issues, moreover, Turkey is doing this at least under the pretext of protecting Muslims in relation to the Uighurs.

  20. In fact, oxygen is the main destroyer of life. Oxygen leads to aging and cancer in humans, it destroys cells, it leads to decay in the plant kingdom, it is a toxic substance, and a decrease in its concentration in the mountains has a beneficial effect on life expectancy and on athletic performance. In eukaryotes, the native mode of energy consumption is fermentation, not oxidation. Oxidation is only native to bacteria, and humans do not consume oxygen themselves, they feed them to mitochondria, a type of bacteria in cells. By the way, I am not good at chemistry, but I think it would be reasonable to ask whether the effect of oxygen is reduced to the leaching of carb…

  21. I think that oxygen reduction is a positive factor for humans. Oxygen is toxic and destructive and leads to aging and cancer. Mountain air with a low oxygen content is considered healthier, and people live there longer, athletes train there. It is also likely that an excess of the ozone layer leads to a lack of solar energy. Smoking could be an evolutionary maneuver in the fight against excess oxygen. If it weren't for the benefit, natural selection would not have gone down the path when inhaling smoke is enjoyable and satisfying. The qualities that lead to survival evolve.

  22. Started by JohnSSM,

There is no proof in a subjective measurement. I can give some examples if you like. Is shadow a physical object? Is a hole a physical object? If the physics of the universe, has created an effect that we can notice and define or measure, then it is a physical object. That's all any subjective perspective is capable of. THIS IS AN EDIT. I wanted to reword this. If the physics of the universe, has created an effect that we can notice and define or measure, then it is a physical SUBJECT. Not an object. In all terms of reality, we have no objective proof of anything. Math could be said to be an objective truth, but it only solves the truths that we realize i…

  24. There are numerous ways to "cheat" gravity. We can throw ourselves forward and using our legs to convert the momentum to lifting. Essentially we can use most of our muscles to lift ourselves rather than just those designed for the task. As you get older you find that such tricks are less a luxury and more a necessity. Where you were once able to leap to your feet from a prone position in one single movement you'll find that six or eight movements become needed. They say if you can get up in two or fewer movements you won't die for five years. It's been a long time though since I could do it in two. I don't believe there are "laws of physic…

  25. quote from iNow : " No. It was a singularity such as those predicted at the center of BHs, but was not from a BH itself. " Singularities have little meaning in maths , let alone in truly objective physix. Big bang seems to be very scarcely different from Creationism ....... The two are intrinsically the same .... __________________________________________________________________ quote from Migl : " There is no upper limit on BH size. There is only a limit to how much you can feed them. Once they 'eat' all close by mass via their accretion disc, they can't overcome farther out stable orbiting material, and stop growing.
