Well, here is the common question(or so I think) about the American education system and whether it is doing the right thing. Let me expand the question, however. I am normally the rebellious(lack of term) person who with mathematical courses in schools I fail at(or get below average) the class and I always feel like I am a failure at math and I will never be able to understand it no matter how they seem to teach it in the classroom, yet on my free time I do math and I always find interesting things within mathematical concepts such as number theory and the relationships between different types of numbers, such as primes, and I enjoy taking a look into set theory and …

  6. I apologize for my thread, Irrelevant: Why God Cannot Exist (logical proof) to everyone who thought I was mocking or in any way demeaning, it was not my intent. In fact, I read the thread, Why God Cannot Exist (logical proof), with admiration of the participants who made logical and rational arguments. My comments, except for the joke about the virtual brawl, were serious; although, were in poor taste according to ydoaPs, who locked the thread. Opening the Irrelevant thread was a mistake for two reasons. First, my writing skills are meager, compounded by my being insensitive due autistic spectrum syndrome. Second, was abused from the age of three by ignorant decisions…

  7. My church and family taught that God was supreme, omnipotent, omniscient, and supernatural. Thus, logic is irrelevant, one must believe. BTW is a damn good virtual bar brawl. John Wayne would be proud.

It's more technology than just internet, but whatever http://dashes.com/anil/2013/07/rules-of-internet.html A couple that I thought especially apply here at SFN: The only way to get useful feedback from people on the Internet is to ask questions that are actually answerable, instead of open-ended. There are quite a few examples of people answering open-ended questions and then getting mad that nobody could clairvoyantly discern what the answerable question was. If your website's full of [a-holes], it's your fault. Which is a reason for having moderators.

So I was sitting on the toilet and thinking about life, and my mind wandered to areas where fresh water is a luxury and how we here in the west literally take a dump into it. Why do we use fresh water to flush our toilets and use in our sewer systems? Why not use salt water from the ocean? How expensive could it be to pump it in from the ocean instead of using water treatment plants and recycle fresh water through tons of filtration systems? I know this would not be practical for many areas in the center of larger continents... but many many massive cities lie along or near the coast. With modern plastic polymers surely we could use materials resistant to salt wate…

Does anyone have any leads on the whereabouts of a John Titor? It is of great urgency that I ask this forum. I am quite similar to John Titor, and I request his aid. If you are in league with John, do not run and hide. I am a friend...for now. But I believe we could help each other in our, predicaments. Please respond, your friend, Tim Travis

  17. I would like to propose that we, here at scienceforums, abandon English as a failed protocol for communication. Perhaps we could base our new universal language on ADANACO, the language developed by butcher bob in the movie "Big Meat Eater". If you are not familiar with this film I would highly recommend you watch it. In addition to the genius of ADANACO, it is the best comedy-horror-scifi-romance-musical ever released to home VHS tape. IN anticipation of any misguided criticism, allow me to state your attacks just demonstrate your lack of understanding of my central point and my only response will be non-sequeters. Irrefutable PROOF!

  19. http://theconversation.com/ordering-the-vegetarian-meal-theres-more-animal-blood-on-your-hands-4659 Eating vegetarian could result in more blood on your hands than being the omnivores humans naturally are. Eating vegan can result in far more sentient animals deaths than our current practices of eating red meat.

I have this sort of idea on how part of the vehicle technology in my show concept would work; keep the rider stuck to the vehicle at even the highest speeds. It would be a technology that electronically manipulates atmospheric molecules so that they move around the rider and vehicle, and not into them. Does that seem like it could happen in real life someday?
