I read Johnny5's last thread here. It seems to have been an ongoing discussion in which he was trying to explain a mathematical concept to Matt Grime as he saw it. Things may be a bit different where some people are, but the discussion looked quite civil to me. Then Phi for All said this: "Enough. This thread was designed to show one member how to save time and space in his postings and has gone on now for 3 pages. Once again we have tied up a Resident expert's valuable time to solve the problems of a member who seems to relish being a problem. This is not what we're here for." I can't divine what Johnny5's terrible crime might have been. His posts seemed to …

Ok....in one of Blikes latest challenges, the question was about Logic and Emotion. The only answers were I agree or I disagree and I said "I disagree". Others enhanced the answer by adding the word "Strongly". I (grrrrrrrrr) tried to look for a way to change mine so I could add that word too, but I can't. Now.....does it make a difference in who is selected if the answer is made to look stronger? I don't care if I'm not selected, I just want to know. Bettina

Hi, just thought I'd drop a note that I'm going to be visiting my GF in the UK for the next three weeks+, from the 19th to the 10th. They have internet (broadband, so better internet than me), so I'll still be able to check in, just not as often, as I'll be, erm, distracted. Anyhow, just letting you know I won't be around as often or posting as much. Mokele

Has anyone drunk the drinks like Green Tea, Black Tea or whatever? i have drunk Green Tea made in US, but the taste is not as good as those in my native country--Taiwan. I still think the drinks sold here are pretty good. But I love the ones from Tawan. Also that milk tea and black tea are nice-tasted from Japan. I think US market should try to focus on making milk tea.

Mark R. Downs Jr., 27, of Dunbar, is accused of offering one of his players the money to hit the boy in the head with a baseball, police said. Witnesses told police Downs didn't want the boy to play in the game because of his disability. Today I was notified that we will be having manditory PT for DEP members every Wednesday. We used to only have to go to a DEP meeting the second Wednesday of every month. I got out of it this week, but now I have to find a ride to Greenwood every Wednesday at 17 00. I don't have a car, so this is going to be akward. I have to call people I don't even know to get a ride. Maybe I can get my recruiter to call them for me.

I don't know why. Who is native born American here, please explain it to me. When I read some article, as it is quoting, sometimes it sppears "Someone Says," another time it happens "Says Someone." That someone refered to the name of author. As grammatical pattern, how can you swtich this kind of case? Also that I, you, he, she, and they are sometimes used as subjects. But we can always use adjective to modify nouns. At the beggining of sentence, can I make: Angry-I dislike this thing???

I am taking tennis course this summer. I found out that serving is a difficult task. you serve, you have to strike the ball into the front-court box. And it is very hard to do it when you want to make your ball goes fast. I also feel that it is difficult to play with another one. I feel I am better at one-on-one. And before I attended my tennis course yesterday, I did some AB-wheel excercise. This excercise really helped me that it had the flow of energy in my arms going smoothly. So I did well in my tennis course last night. Speaking of being playing tennis, do you really need to have certain ability of the strength of your arms--no matter how good or how skilled you are…

I used to work at a fast food restaurant, and one of the things you discover are restaurant report cards. They are these sheets of paper posted on a wall usually near the cooking area. The score is 1-100, 100 being the best. 100-90 means minor violations like a door being open for a few minutes. You look at this sheet and you see an 86, read it because it usually means some kind of pest problem. If it's oh say 76, that's means it's a bigger pest, and I mean size-wise . I go out to eat and I notice that no too many people check these out. Inspectors have noticed too, and have started posting their results online. Another helpful hint is that pest exterminators are postin…

Judge in hot water over masturbation claims Oklahoma's Attorney-General wants a state judge removed on suspicion he frequently masturbated and used a device for enhancing erections while his court was in session. Attorney-General Drew Edmondson filed a petition with state judicial authorities seeking the removal of Sapulpa District Judge Donald Thompson, 57, for "conduct constituting an offence involving moral turpitude in violation of the Oklahoma Constitution". Mr Thompson is not immediately available for comment. The judge, elected to the bench in the state's non-partisan judicial elections, is based about 130 kilometres north-east of Oklahoma City. …

I went to a bookstore to find a dictionary that is published by Webster. Why I went for Webster, because I know the featuring helps of Webster make people easily understand. But the books sold in the store do not qualify the standard which I need. In webster website, it sort gives you a sense of how the words were gradually formulated. That is etymology. And I think this really help. I can know more vocabulary by talking to people with those words; checking out the meanings of them by going that site. So does any of you know that any diction has exactly same features as the site, please give me the link to embrace it?
