  1. Are you suggesting there's no proof that humans are intelligent? Indeed you can, but unless you can back it up with resonable observations (you know, evidense), it's reasonable for me to dismiss you as a troll. Let me give you a piece of advice, if you can't find evidense for your assertions, when you need too; it's an opinion and your in a hole...
  2. Next you'll be asking for evidense.
  3. By that logic, bookworms are doomed... I only have to run faster than you.
  4. Yes, it can be observed today, sometimes: To hold them up. To fish for ants, or other food. To create a display, that's intimidating to others. If they're already viable, that begs a question. That one is just pulled out your arse.
  5. The fundamental problem, is your aproach to the problem. Your premise has no connection to your conclusion (nothing and no-one can guarantee survival). At this point, you're going to have to provide evidense; lest be tarnished with the lable "Troll"...
  6. When did our body hair disapeare?
  7. Alien to what??? That, I'm guessing...
  8. Your missing the point, innovation just enables this. We survived just fine before farming.
  9. So you agree that innovation is not necessary for our survival?
  10. That can be said of every living creature on the planet; innovation isn't necessary for survival, in fact it can be argued that it's detrimental to survival. https://www.mic.com/articles/85541/nasa-study-concludes-when-civilization-will-end-and-it-s-not-looking-good-for-us
  11. It's not very often that they're the only victim ("no man is an island"), and you're the only one assuming 'committed' has negative implications. In fact you seem to on a crusade to defend these unfortunate people, when no-one is attacking them; what's your agenda?
  12. Nothing will change because the problem happens tomorrow; and however relevant, history is, it won't happen tomorrow...
  13. Your replies are very frustrating because you seem so close and then "We are how we eat. Food is medicine." Whereas it should read: We are because we eat and medicine is medicine and food is just healthy, if you eat it...
  14. You're nearly there but instead of "Just try your best" just try and not die...
  15. No more than a plan to avoid death. My plan is to not stop breathing... You could just smile...
  16. Or you could just stop worrying about "a plan" and cross the bridge when you get to it.
  17. If the purpose of life is to live and get better, what if I don't?
  18. Sorry I missed this post. The answer doesn't change with the question... Life may seem to quest for life, but that's not it's purpose, it's just what happens when life succeeds; and no, success is not the purpose, it's the result...
  19. You're missing the point. We're not born with a purpose or a set of goals to be achieved. You're entitled to set whatever goals you want, but there's no universal imperative to do so. There is no "purpose/reason" for life, only the arbitrary set of goals you give yourself IOW any meaning/reason/purpose to life is completely subjective; there's nothing objective to measure.
  20. Good for you, did you forget to enjoy this experience.
  21. There's a lot of reasons why you are you, but there's no reason to be you. All of that is goal driven, which is generally set by others; work towards this, in order to achieve this and be this; meanwhile you forget to enjoy this. Good joke... What is success (and happiness)? What if I'm happier than yesterday, but worse? e.g. I was starving yesterday and stole a meat pie. (!!!Cliche warning!!!) At the end of the day, if you can look yourself in the mirror you've succeeded in life and if your content with what you see, you're allowed to be happy...
  22. Basil Fawlty tried to do the same, but someone mentioned the war...
  23. Life is what it is, some learn, we all experience; and some do better than what? Life?
  24. Whatever floats your boat. Even if you find a purpose, does it automatically mean success or happiness, what happens if you do get better? Can you relax with the knowledge of a job well done? What after you become the best, wouldn't you just worry that you may not be tomorrow?
