  1. Economists have successfully predicted 10 of the last 4 market crashes
  2. It really depends on context. Online many of us have been openly critical for tens of years now, whereas IRL it’s sometimes better to just keep quiet. For example, we’ve got some great neighbors, our kids play, and we enjoy their company, but they’re pretty religious. We just don’t talk about it, and that’s okay. People believe all kinds of silliness (like Donald Trump was the best president ever). We need to find ways to continue forward regardless.
  3. Beyond this, it gets rather more complicated when we consider them indoctrinating their children or legislating and putting laws in place motivated by said beliefs. Some might consider it “parenting” and instilling values, while others might see it as a form of abuse and harmful to our collective future.
  4. Perhaps there is research in this space. I'm not entirely sure, but that's not why I answered the way I did. Your questions have logical answers. Density will tend to vary (even if only slightly) between Volume A and Volume B. Likewise with mass... extract two equally sized volumes of clay and check their mass, you will see variance (due to the lack of purity in the samples). Similar with electrostatic force... will be pretty close and similar, but depends entirely on the sample(s) being measured.

  6. Gees dude. You really like her. We get it.
  7. Yes Yes Unknown, but likely yes.

  9. Not from my news feeds. I reckon you must follow different sources.
  10. That’s good enough to convince me!
  11. What does this have to do with US response to humanitarian crises in China and elsewhere? You perhaps saw your many claims demonstrated to be false and so chose instead to Gish Gallop?
  12. Which makes YOU the predator. Heck of a logical corner you’ve just painted yourself into. Absurdity ensues...
  13. Your ignorance on so very many topics is a remarkable thing to behold and truly seems to know no bounds. https://www.bloombergquint.com/quicktakes/unraveling-the-mysteries-of-china-s-multiple-budgets-quicktake https://hbr.org/2020/02/how-much-money-does-the-world-owe-china
  14. For you, for me, or for both? Actually, you know what? Never mind.
  15. Right. Would you like to try now actually answering any questions asked of you?
  16. Language isn’t the problem here. Comprehension, understanding, and intellectual honesty are.
  17. Now you’re moving goalposts by adding that your villain must be conscious. That’s fine, but now you must define what you mean by consciousness. I’m not hopeful you’ll succeed. It’s not idle at all, especially when one considers more common usages of free will and how neuroscience undermines those usages. And again, you evade direct questions:
  18. I tend to agree, which is why you look so extremely and irreparably foolish saying ridiculous things like this:
  19. Which means I also get to decide. I’ve decided you’re evil and that your life is worth less than a chicken. How will you defend against this?
  20. As I thought. You’re not worth anyone’s time. Thanks for confirming.
  21. Do you also get to decide who is and is not evil?
  22. This clearly depends on the measure being used. Since, however, you said “completely,” what is also clear is that you have no idea what you’re talking about and aren’t worth listening to. Like here, again spouting trivially false nonsense suggesting China hasn’t invested in its own economy. You post often here and seem to like including laughable fictions essentially every time you do. You also still haven’t answered my direct question:
  23. I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.
