Having checked out a few websites which suggest that diabetes increases the rate of heart disease, I am none the wiser. What is the mechanism that increases heart disease and is it diabetes Type I or II which is worse for a person's heart.

Hey, I've been using melanotan as a redhead, but you can find many other patents online to darken hair and skin without having to use the needles ( no dyes or sunless stains but really increasing melanin activity), what I'm currently looking for is a doctor, formulator, scientist,...that could help me on formulating those patents, calling the right people to see what kinda penetration agents they need,.... So I thought on a scientific forum might be people that could help me and all other users wanting to darken hair and skin. If you want to have some links, just contact me...

What is the difference between circulatory system and cardiovascular system? According to my knowledge, both are the names of same system of human body. Cardiovascular is more anatomic term and circulatory is more physiologic term. So the system to which anatomists refer as cardiovascular system, physiologists will call it circulatory system. For more details on my explanation of cardiovascular system vs. Circulatory system, see my blog post "Circulatory System vs. Cardiovascular System"

No they are not eye floaters they are dancing stars/ sparkly dots it is hard to explain.I'm farsighted in one eye and nearsighted in other eye and can only see it well if it is very very bright. It is indeed a revelation in the medical world to have come up with something as cord blood stem cells to cure diseases. Cord blood stem cells which have been proven at healing severe illness are gaining popularity among parents who seem to be gearing up to this new found remedy by giving their umbilical cord blood for collection. It is a known fact that cord blood which is rich in stem cells, are often discarded at the time of child birth. With parents getting to know its benefits, they are now opting for umbilical cord blood donation, because diseases do not wait for a green signal to attack anyone. Having preserved this precious cord blood, you can take a sigh o…

My dear friends till yet most of us was in the wrong concept that Menstrual blood is just a wastage. But scientist found stem cells naturally from this menstrual blood. There are so many private cord blood banks with latest technology to collect, preserve the stem cells from the menstrual blood. As per my research I found Celle's patent-pending technology, and easy-to-use collection kit, you have the reassurance and peace of mind you need, when it comes to collecting, isolating and preserving menstrual blood. A graceful quote "Welcome to Celle – where every month holds a miracle". If you really liked my post as well as my research resource please repl…

Because of its important role in maintaining vascular health and promoting vasodilation, some have proposed that nitric oxide be regarded as an essential nutrient. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good dietary source of nitric oxide donors or a nitric oxide donor supplement other than the well-known one of l-arginine?

I guess I'm one of those people. These days I notice that my sense of smell wasn't as strong as it was in the past. I could not no longer detect heavy odor and it came to my surprise that on one particular day, I couldn't even detect the cooking gas leakage until my sister highlighted to me. I guess not only is this bad but it might be dangerous in the long run. At the moment, I'm not going to seek medical advice as my worst fear is having to undergo operation. If anybody has any clue or advice, I would appreciate it. So far, my search in the internet did not really offer any lead. What I need maybe is herbal treatment or cure. thanks in advance guys.

What percentage of people in Western society die from natural causes as opposed to by disease? If you live longer, will you just end up developing more illnesses/diseases until one eventually kills you? Who is the oldest person to have ever lived without developing any chronic illness and dying naturally? How old were they? Any thoughts?

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Nonspecific inflammation of lungs (pneumonia) in children is a significant problem in the world. In this regard, World Health Organization intends to spend 39 billions of dollars in 2010-2015 years only to prevent this disease (“New WHO/UNICEF action plan to tackle pneumonia”, November 2, 2009, www.who.com). I’d like to bring your attention to acute pneumonia (AP) with progressive tendency. There appears to be an inability of AP treatment to stop the development of inflammatory process and its complications. Although this patients’ group has been a regular subject of numerous publications, the purpose of this discussion is t…

Research injecting neural (adult) stem cells into the brains of dogs has shown to be very successful in treating cancerous tumors.Using conventional techniques, brain cancer is difficult to treat because it spreads so rapidly. Researchers at the Harvard Medical School transplanted human neural stem cells into the brain of rodents that received intracranial tumours. Within days, the cells migrated into the cancerous area and produced cytosine deaminase, an enzyme that converts a non-toxic pro-drug into a chemotheraputic agent. As a result, the injected substance was able to reduce the tumor mass by 81 percent. The stem cells neither differentiated nor turned tumorigenic. S…

Hi: I’m currently thinking of a hypothetical diet product that is vegan-friendly and has all the vegetables, fruits, herbs, algae, seaweed, mushrooms and other non-animal organisms that are necessary/beneficial for human health. It also contains beneficial and essential microbes [such as probiotics]. All the aforementioned are in amounts optimum for human health. This product is completely organic and free of any pesticides, synthetic ethylene and other man-made substances that compromise the health of organisms and their human consumers. In addition, no organisms used in the product are genetically-engineered, pasteurized, or irradiated to any extent. Equally im…

I was living in England when the world-wide hysteria over the 'date rape' drug GBH first seized hold of public consciousness. Officials in the British government were alarmed that their laws did not permit them at the time to prohibit the manufacturing, sale, distribution, and use of the drug, so being naughty, I thought I would buy some and try it. I found it really salty -- so salty in fact that I couldn't understand how anyone could possibly slip it into someone's drink without the person noticing it, unless it were tomato juice already spiced with Worcestershire Sauce. I also found that while it made me slightly sleepy, it took about an hour, even at the highest…

If you ask the typical layperson, he or she will say that medicine is doing wonders today. But the FDA published a 'panic bulletin' in 2008 noting that the number of new drug approval requests had declined for the first time since the approval process was established, and the typical patent attorney will tell you that the drug patenting laws are now inappropriate because they were designed to protect major therapeutic breakthroughs which are no longer happening. The death rates for many forms of cancer have not improved significantly for decades, the unsolved problems in diabetes and renal failure remain what they were a half century ago, and the last disease removed as…

Hi, I thank you all for your help....(I put this is the wrong section, so I'll try it here) There is a man on the internet saying that drinking three drops of his Miracle Mineral will cure us of 95% of all diseases, including cancer, malaria, etc. This "miracle mineral" is sodium chlorite that he says to add lemon juice so that it turns to chlorine dioxide. I noticed that my household Clorox says it is sodium hypochlorite, so I asked what the difference is, someone answered: "NaClO is household bleach. Sodium chlorite is NaClO2 Table salt is NaCl all very different substances.. and in the end how they compare makes not one hair of difference bec…

Hello everyone, What I just read is for type 1 diabetes mellitus, it requires an environmental factor (eg virus) and genetic determinant that allows the B cells to be detected as non self. Now I'm not very familiar with autoimmune diseases. My question is why does a virus have to come and trigger the autoimmune destruction of B cells. If B cells are alreadly genetically non self, shouldn't the body start attacking them without a stimulus? Thank you
