  1. What is?
  2. But know this, if a certified woman beats a certified man, we have rules that clearly state, that that can't happen, sorry 🙏.
  3. They need only fear the avatar, when we're playing poker It's not the drug they use, that's the issue, it's that they are taking them for a reason; and that reason is often depressing.
  4. People who want to commit suicide, are afraid of pain not death... 🙄
  5. It's never simple, they're so difficult to tell apart...😉
  6. James Bessen AI and Jobs: the role of demand (nber.org)
  7. Well, it's certainly muddied the warters, to the point where it's difficult to tell them apart; so, let's try a post hoc system...
  8. Sometimes absolutes are necessary, for those who are unable to understand the nuances of life; for instance, from time to time we all get sad and not want to 'be', and if I've got access to a gun it's easy to make the wrong decision; if society deems a gun/suicide to be evil and have consequences after death, then suicide becomes difficult today and gives one a chance to think about it again, in a better mood.
  9. Oh FFS, now I'm going to have to watch it again... 🙄
  10. If this is you trolling me, I'm just going to cross the bridge.

    To know why they accepted/voted.
  12. Every Yin has its Yang; for example, every step change in technology, so far, has taken us closer to the cliff, while simultaneously giving us a glimpse of the potentially magnificent view. There is a school of thought that suggests AI will create a U shaped graph, in which, as AI develops, there is a point where the number of job's will start to travel towards zero exponentially. I'll have to do a little digging to give you a citation, but I know there is one.
  13. Absolutely, but the problem remains the same; follow the money, is a hard habit to break... Absolutely, but the problem remains the same; follow the money, is a hard habit to break... We're to early in the cycle to make any realistic prediction's, AI is just a child ATM, and we all know the problems a precocious child can present (just watch"The Big Bang Theory")...

If you're not from that culture, why would you think it could be easy to understand?
  15. You should read the thread, this has been answered. This too has been answered. Not exactly sure what you mean by this, my best quess is yin-yang, so my answer is yes...
  16. Copy and paste a subject into their minds and get a piece of paper with a fancy golden symbol. Hence extrinsic motivation. What is it about science that angers you so? It's just a way of thinking, a philosophy; and every philosophy has it's bad practitioners, some of whom should be dispised/disliked (not the same as contempt) because they clearly don't understand it's meaning, much like you would a priest that molests children. What you can't do is dismiss the good it clearly does as an excuse to dispise the idea. Indeed, your on top of your mountain of resentment. That's an entirely different question, worthy of it's own topic; so, if you want an answer, start one...
  17. Anger and contempt are ways to describe hate and, while that could be useful in some case's *, it's usually more harmful to you than it is to "them". * I think what you mean is, someone you dislike says you can't achieve your goals and it spurs you on, to prove them wrong; you should be thanking them, not holding them in contempt.
  18. By taking the test many times and "learning" from the results, when this method is applied to life, it increases your wisdom. 😉
  19. Why do they deserve contempt? They're not doing the job as well as you or they're not as educated as you or they don't work as hard as you? Shoudn't they deserve your pitty? Because they're never going to be as successful as you, but maybe they're happier...
  20. I see it as more like a barter, "have a think about what I've said and tell me what you don't understand, next time" if you want to hear more, help me live and I'll tell you tomorrow. It's not like busking on the street (or posting on this forum), most people are happy with their current earworm. I'm thinking more like a market stall with a sign up saying "get your life coaching here", attracting people who want to here my tunes. BTW that "slightly" is a 'real' slap in the face... 🤒 😁
  21. Nope, that's the point... 🙄
