Thanks as always for your thoughtfulness and clarity, Ken. It’s much appreciated

Safer for a healthy 32 year old: contracting COVID or getting the vaccine?
Taking the vaccine is always safer than contracting the virus. Also, if you've already had covid, you'd still want the vaccine and that would make you even more protected. Why is this even a question? Get vaccinated. Run, don't walk to do so.

Want to know
It's possible I'm missing something obvious here, but Archimedes Principle is about buoyancy yet you seem to be explaining Zeno's Paradox

Indeed, sir. Touché. Quite right. At the risk of taking this too far, the cemetery with people trying and failing to do things that are most definitely and without question doable is even larger. ✌️ I was with you and in agreement throughout your whole well thought out post, but admit you lost me a bit with this closing. I don’t disagree with you about the reality and scale of the challenges, only about your apparent conclusion that we lack the capacity as humans to overcome them… Sure, “How” remains TBD for now, but dismissing potential solutions entirely just because we personally find them incredulous is a logical fallacy.

Ron Johnson's Feet
Agreed Again, agreed… but just so we’re clear, that’s not what you said a few weeks ago. That’s where my criticism was focused, but we can move on since you’ve refined your claim. Thanks.

Time to talk about UFO's or now as the military calls them UAP's?
I imagine Tormud, Buffy, and Craig are all long gone by now

It’s really only a matter of funding, IMO. After all… The graveyard of history is littered with those who said something could not be done. “Those who say it can't be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.” Especially given the modern day pace of innovation and realization of possibility. +1

Just to get us all back on topic, any clarification of what you meant here would be helpful, MohammedMkh. We are not sure what you mean.

Comparing Corona Virus Success Stories with Abysmal Failures
Perhaps a better question is how did India avoid this covid calamity from happening all last year* and what led them to squander all that extra time they had where they could’ve been better preparing for this totally predictable outcome. *early and overly brutal lockdowns clearly played a role, but that extra time could’ve been used stockpiling PPE and vaccines knowing those would be needed as soon as they loosened social restrictions and once pandemic fatigue had set in. I’m unclear on what you mean to convey here, or how it relates to the quote from CharonY you seem to be replying to. Maybe you can clarify?

Is There are Variations in anatomy b/w countries
No What types of values have you read about, and where?
-
Is There are Variations in anatomy b/w countries
There are anatomical and physiological differences between ALL humans, even identical twins, regardless of where they live.

Tesla is publicly traded. SpaceX is not. This is all moot.

Russias submarine launched satellite
Thanks for sharing your opinion on a topic with zero supplementary information or context or points for discussion, but this isn't your blog... nor is it the Russian ministry of propaganda or RT "news."

Still pending your actual answer and not an evasion

Then don’t quote me before responding with text that suggests the response is directed at me. This isn’t exactly rocket science. Lol

SpaceX
I really couldn’t care less. I never said this, so it’s moot.

How does one literally support their claim that they are not trolling? Genuinely curious, because it appears you’re now merely arguing in bad faith and attempting to twist the meaning of my actual comment… the one you even quoted.

SpaceX
Available evidence contradicts your claim.

Hijack (split from Idea for a rocket engine)
You’re also grossly off topic

SpaceX
Super bad. Please. I simply MUST know how you feel about Musk. You’ve been such a wall flower and so silent about him thus far. Please continue!
-
Hijack (split from Idea for a rocket engine)
The opposite, really. Rockets to escape gravity. Thrusters to move and navigate once you’re more or less clear.

Stop the feedings. We’ve now had 4 pages with zero progress.

I can’t help but laugh at your continued obsession with Musk. You come across a bit like he sexually assaulted your mother and you’re his bastard child. Even if true, SFN isn’t the place nor is your ranting and raving in this thread the proper method to work through your trauma. Professional therapy would be better if this accurately describes your situation and motivation.

Woodworking: Amateurs, Craftsmen, & In-Between
I’m unfamiliar with it, but super sharp tools / blades and test cuts performed on scrap pieces where you “sneak up” on perfection are good rules of thumb. Cut longer than needed, then dial it in slowly on scrap pieces… maybe even twice… before committing to the final cut on your actual workpiece. Good luck! Edit to add: In fairness, I tend to think ALL miters are hard and prefer avoiding them
