The intent of Israel bombing AP/Al Jazeera offices
And as of today (for now, anyway), Netanyahu is no longer PM of Israel. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-57462470

Money, is it worth it?
Things like food, clean drinking water, shelter, opportunity, security. Sure, but you’re putting money in opposition to love of people and that’s frankly ridiculous since so many people seek money to better care for those they love and hold dear. Lol. Citation needed I understand that you’re quite likely a bot in training.

What is the Purpose of Life ?
Who’s not calm? Yes, this is called an anecdote, not evidence. This was never in question. What IS in question is why you seem to think that’s in any way relevant, or that it’s somehow good enough to convince others that the decades of research on this topic are wrong. What about it? Also, see 2.7: https://www.scienceforums.net/guidelines/ X-posted with Zap who literally said the EXACT same thing 😂

What is the Purpose of Life ?
That’s bound to happen when you make claims that are refuted by evidence, or when you suggest your personal incredulity alone is reason enough to reject said evidence.

What is the Purpose of Life ?
You need to stop thinking of your opinions as facts and look into the tremendous and lasting therapeutic benefits DMT and MDNA are having on depression as documented for years in scientific literature. It has nothing to do with getting high or legality. It has to do with efficacy and positive results.

Should academic research establishments be political?
He represents Texas. I used to live in Texas. He was given power to represent me. He doesn’t represent me. He’s still in power. I’m not the one giving him more credit than he deserves. His voters are.

Are there any benefits to not masturbating?
+1 just for the masturbator beware joke

Should academic research establishments be political?
No, he’s the same guy who carried a snowball on to the House floor and held it up during a speech claiming that it proved climate change isn’t real.

Military history/history
Also, history is a big topic. It pretty much encompasses everything. Might help to narrow it down a bit.

Hey guys, is it ok to post a video of my aquarium, if so where.
Correct. In a cloaked Klingon ship, no less. AFAIK, it was not a nuclear wessel

On tact
You’re one of the fist folks I ever saw emphasizing that important difference btw trust and faith in response to folks conflating faith that the sun will come up or science is mostly accurate with faith that a white bearded guy surfing among the clouds cares if we masturbate or eat meat on Fridays (or pork on any day).

Novelty detection in the brain
There are, but it really has nothing to do with novelty and familiarity. It's all just basic reward mechanism and what drives the biggest dopamine hit for us / reduces cortisol and adrenaline levels. It's all related to experience. How we interpret new experiences against past experience. How that stimulates us intellectually and emotionally. How that triggers good and bad memories from childhood, etc. Even experiencing the same place over and over and over again some more is going to be novel each and every time due to the way it IS a different experience each time... given how we've changed and evolved since the last time we experienced it... or even just given how we happen to be feeling that day, how we slept the night before, or what we most recently ate... every single time is a new experience even if we've been to the place before. Your question is making too many assumptions and is really ill-formed. Every experience is novel. Novelty is not on/off binary, and instead exists along a spectrum of extremely novel or barely.

Are there any benefits to not masturbating?
Well, for males anyway, larger ejaculate volume when orgasming might be a benefit of masturbation avoidance. Regardless, whether you’re considering physical benefits or mental benefits of avoiding masturbation, these should be weighed against any risks or stresses this avoidance behavior may simultaneously create.

Should being within six feet of someone while Coronavirus going on be considered assault?
No. By this same logic, heating ones home in winter is manslaughter because of the way it pollutes the air. Assault also generally requires intent. People merely standing beside you in public spaces cannot in most cases be considered to be “intentionally inflicting harm” on you, especially if they don’t believe themselves to be infected. I think it’s you who needs to begin thinking about where you do and don’t stand and what PPE you use when encountering circumstances where the distance between people is smaller than you prefer.
