Joe Biden says he ‘has’ cancer thanks to oil industry
I did not say it was questionable to me. But it certainly is to a large number of the American populace. That is fact; not opinion. See story in The Guardian for evidence "More than 40% in US do not believe Biden legitimately won election - poll" ( I'm unable to post a link to the article ) Does that comply with Rule 2.12 Swansont ?

Joe Biden says he ‘has’ cancer thanks to oil industry
I'm with JC on this one. It is certainly 'questionable'. As evidenced by 40 % of your citizens believing J Biden did not actually win. IOW, it is being questioned by the electorate.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
The ppoint you fail to understand, is that they won't. Russia, on the other hand, thinks it can, and will. That is the reason for NATO. HaHa Most Americans might find gas and food a little more expensive, but they still have more vehicles than household members, and are too well fed to the point of obesity. What are the Russian people eating these days ? Do you remember the bread lines of the 80s and 90s ? Maybe V Putin should stop buying weapons, and be a little nicer to the Ukrainians who supply Russia with wheat, instead of just taking it and letting Ukrainians starve by the millions, like J Stalin did.

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
My apologies; guess I misinterpreted this

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Yes you are. Your link says 'failing state'. You say already 'failed'. And I said 'literal' and 'original' in reference to overturning Roe vs Wade. Not the enshrining of the right to bear arms in the Constitution. Seems all Americans pick and choose what parts of the Constitution they deem important. Even "We, the people ..." fails when some are not classified as 'people'.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
Russia's ended a long time ago; they just don't realize it yet. Maybe their first clue should be that any of the conventional forces of the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, or even Poland could 'mop the floor' with the Russian forces, as evidenced by the criminal war in the Ukraine.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
Yugoslavia 1999 was an EU operation; not NATO. And it provided the basis for the EU Armed Forces. See here Defence forces of the European Union - Wikipedia

JCPOA (hijack from War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine...)
The IDF. As previously done in Operatio Opera in June 1981, when the French designed Osiris class nuclear reactor was rendered unoperational by an Israeli Air Force strike group of F-16A fighter jets. The IDF now has close to 50 F-35s, making stealthy strikes even more viable in the middle East region. And who would go to war with Israel ? They DO have nuclear weapons.

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Stop hiding behind your Constitution to perpetuate all sorts of anti-social behaviour. It is your Constitution that is protecting the rights of demented people to go into schools and shoot up kids. It is a literal and original interpretation of the Constitution that has lead to the overturning of Roe vs Wade. What passed for 'morality' a couple of hundred years ago, such as owning slaves, is no longer valid. Maybe it is time for some changes ...

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
I bet a lot of Easter Europeans, and especially Ukrainians right now, wish he had gotten his way.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
I know exactly what NATO is for. Maybe you should google NATO's Article 5. Does it mention Russia, or the USSR, at all ? Is it maybe the fact that Russia has always been an 'aggressor', and it feels targeted by a defensive alliance ??? And, if you know a little history, you'll recall that A Hitler and J Stalin had formed a pact to invade and partition Poland amongst themselves. Hitler then went ahead and took it for himself; worse yet, he fu*ked over the Russians by launching Operation Barbarossa and invading Russia to secure supplies from the Middle East. In case you need a history refresher, see here Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact - Wikipedia Russia's 'Great Patriotic War' my ass.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
Except that NATO is, and has always been, a defensive organization of member states, against aggression by any other state ( not just Russia or the USSR ), exactly as Russia is doing right now. Hence, the results of many other countries, including the Ukraine, wanting to join NATO for the purpose of preventing such criminal aggression. Does it seem to you like things are working out for Russia, and V Putin's 'point of view' ?

JCPOA (hijack from War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine...)
With 60 % they can make 'dirty' bombs, as 60 % is not fissile, as opposed to fissionable ( requiring high energy neutron bombardment ). 60 to 80 % ( minimum required for fissilability ) is the difficult part. See here Why It's So Hard to Make Nuclear Weapons | Live Science

US-Roe vs Wade overturned
Some people ( Peterkin ) don't seem to realize that 99 % of laws are morality based and implemented by lawmakers/politicians. ( although the better laws are implemented with input from 'experts' ) Well, thats that, then. Might as well declare the US a failed state. ( at least in Peterkin's opinion )

JCPOA (hijack from War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine...)
Iran's leaders should be careful. Russia and North Korea enjoy a certain amount of 'freedom' to act as renegade states because they have nuclear weapons. Iran has no such leverage.

War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine, China Takes Taiwan. US Response?
Balanced approach ??? We should equally criticise, or praise, Russia as we do the Ukrainians ? We should criticise, or praise, the aggressors/invaders as we do the sovereign country that has been invaded ? We should equally criticise, or praise the criminals as we do the victims ? Is that what passess for 'balance' in your mind ? Give your head a shake. ( do you hear that rattling noise ? something may be loose in there )

Battleship revival?
Raytheon just successfully tested their hypersonic missile. I imagine that within 6 months The US will have considerably more of them than Russia has. ( and if hostilities are still ongoing, maybe the US should send a few to the Ukraine )

Joe Manchin
Manchin is to Democrats what Collins is to Republicans. And they seem to work well together. ( see the new elections bill )
-
If you get down in the mud with pigs, you end up smelling like one
Peterkin and others are constantly complaining about Republicans redrawing voting districts, and changing rules in an effort to keep minorities from voting. And rightly so; this is obviously an attack on democracy, as evidenced by the fact that they still win elections even though more people voted or their opponent. What then should we make of the situation in North Carolina ? NC Green Party rejection sparks claims of unfair undermining by national Democrats | WFAE 90.7 - Charlotte's NPR News Source https://youtu.be/omwJ4b3uNOc https://youtu.be/mQWrJV1q0KU Seems the Democrats have jumped in the mud with the pigs. Now you could make the argument that Republicans have done much worse, but that would be 'whataboutism'. Or you could argue that Green votes will take votes away from Democrats and their effort to defeat Republicans, but that flies against democratic principles. Do we need to pinch our noses when casting ballots because of the stench ? Is there no party with integrity left ? ( politics section seems kind of slow; thought I'd release the brake, and get it moving )

What is time ?
Maybe it's a language issue, but, of the three so called 'undamental' choices you present, only one is actually fundamental. Speed is a change in distance per period of TIME. Change is the diference in something over a period of TIME. TIME is the only fundamental variable, of the choices you presented. Maybe try again when you are less tired ....

What is time ?
How do you assess whether a change is instantaneous or happens over a period of time, without a separate, independant notion of 'time' ?

Where to black holes end up?
A Kerr ( rotating ) BH also has two event horizons. See here Rotating black hole - Wikipedia As with Reissner-Nordstrum ( charged ) or Kerr-Newman ( rotating and charged ), certain values of spin ( angular momentum ), if exceeded, will cause the inner horizon to move outside the outer horizon, leaving a 'naked' singularity. That is what I have read; my math is not advanced enough to 'interpret' the Kerr metric that way. Naked singularities are even more absurd and non-sensical than plain singularities, which must always be hidden by an event horizon. For the reasons presented by Halc above, charged BHs would be extremely rare, if possible, as they tend to 'neutralize' themselves, and a Schwarzschild ( non-rotating ) BH is almost impossible, as collapse increases even the smallest amount of spin ( 'ice skater drawing in her arms' effect ). The most viable solution for almost all BHs, is the Kerr metric or a rotating BH.

How best to start including men who are victims of abuse by women into the public discourse (Johny Depp vs Amber Heard)
Speaking of J Depp ... It definitely seems like he has some substance abuse/anger management issues along with a sense of being 'better' than others. Johnny Depp settles assault lawsuit filed by ‘City of Lies’ crew member (msn.com) Maybe A Heard should have asked G Brooks, the location manager who brought the lawsuit, to testify at her defamation trial.

July 12 is JWT day
Might give us an idea how common planets are in our galaxy, and how many are 'earth-like'. It has been suggested that 'rocky' planets, if not 'earth-like' planets, outnumber the stars. If so, we might have an actual number to plug into one term of the Drake Equation, and get a step closer to resolving the Fermi Paradox.

Philosophy II
Very self-centered questions. We are not the only life on this planet. The only difference between humans and other life, is that we are more self-aware, and call this effect conciousness ( or a soul, if religious ). This ties in to the second question, as we think we are 'special'; it is simply hubris, we are not special. Otherwise, the purpose of life is to reproduce and die. The only objective reality we have, is what science can measure; everything else is subjective.
