I have seen it multiple times. Disk not possible to be formatted for Windows, and make bootable, but can be 2nd disk. Have collection of them..

Sometimes, in old times ('90 years) partitioning on AmigaOS, and formatting on AmigaOS, could help..

After that, and moving disk back to PC, it could still be used.

If a drive (SATA, old IDE, whatever) is invisible as a device in BIOS are you able to do anything with it? Unless AMIGA had some magical interface, I don't know - I had a 64kb ATARI 800XL with a tape player/recorder (ZX Spectrum before that) and went to an XT PC in late 80's...you know, 5.25 drive, having to park my 20Mb hardrive - the whole shebang with a 14400 modem  
Here's a story...I bought a new drive today, retrieved my backup to it and installed all the win10 updates. Remember a couple weeks ago me complaining about no internet connection in browsers - no http/https despite wifi network card and TCP/IP stack being fine? Well I spent 5 hours today trying to find a solution and I finally did. As a last resort before downgrading to win7, I downloaded an uninstall app from "ESET Antivirus" site and performed an uninstall in safe mode. It was the G damned ESET antivirus software which didn't work with the latest Win10 updates. Disabling firewall, killing the ESET somethingsomething lighweight protocol in wifi card settings - nothing worked. Only after killing the whole software from safemode the connection is there again. Ofcourse it wasnt only http - FTP, SSH, Putty on all ports did not give any errors just timeouts and did not work. God I hate Microsoft for stuff like this.

I find AVG gives me an update almost immediately after Microsoft does.
All I use is AVG and Ccleaner.
