I just burned myself with a soldering iron. It felt absolutely horrendous, and now it is blistering and burning like fire under my skin :/

In Canada, Vancouver in particular, there is a plight in which available hospital beds are becoming spread thinner and thinner. My idea was, eliminate all of the useless government jobs, such as the middle floor beurocrats, and put that money into the ailing health care system. Good call eh? Hard solution to come by. This situation is avoidable and there is plenty of money still being sucked into the proverbial black void. Why doesn't the government actually work to improve the country and streamline the system?

What will happen if 100,000 US chemists will declare a war on the 10.000 US Physicists? *Literally*?

Though this is not technically my first post, I thought I'd introduce myself to you all. I'm currently a sophomore biochemistry & molecular biology major at a small liberal arts college in Virginia. I love science, and hope to someday teach chemistry at the undergraduate/graduate level and research. I work and research in the environmental science department of my college, and fence sabre. Well, i'm back to school now and during lessons i feel sleepy and tired easily... sO i was wondering what i could do in class to keep myself attentive and able to remember what the teachers teaches. Sleep... i know is a solution... but i need to finish my homework before i can go to bed and it often eats into my sleeping time. And, i am not allowed to eat in class... but drinking is allowed. So, given these restriction... what could i do to help myseld to pay attention in class... i need some advice and so thanks in advance. Btw, i have tonnes of homework.. is there any advice you can give to complete it in a more efficient and faster way?

Im working on an invention it is a toilet bowl cleaner and i know have it in a powder form. I want to make it into a Slow Dissolving Tablet form so i can drop it in the back of the toilet it it will slowly disovle over about 1 to 2 weeks. I have searched the internet for days and cannot find any information on how to make tablets. I see information about making Pill Tablets using heat and pressure but i want a soulution when i can use household products such as things from the kitchen to make a tablet.
