In the year 1999 and seven months A great King of Terror will come from the sky. He will bring back the great King Genghis Khan. Before and after Mars rules happily. How do you begin Terra-Forming another planet? There is an ancient, but educational game that hopes to answer this question though simulation called SimEarth. I can tell you that the in the begining the secret is to crash a Comet into the planets. Many things will happen including depositing water and gasses, liberating elements and compounds stored underground, and raising the temperature. So lets crash a comet into Mars. Unforutunately there is no remote-control for comets. The plan would…

Kazzappo! With the magic wand of superness, I have made you King God of the Universe for the day. What will you change? You might want to just make small tweaks here and there, or you might be in favour of scrapping the whole show and building a new universe (with rules that make sense, maybe?) Perhaps you'll arrange the galaxies in a grid formation, or maybe just making the sea taste like chocolate will be enough for you. Anything goes!

My clothes are shrinking. Is it because I am washing it in the wrong water temperature? Or maybe is it because I am drying it at the wrong temperature? Or maybe both? I would hate to have to conduct experiments on clothing shrinkage with my own clothes, so I'd really appreciate it if someone has an answer.

I'm just wondering what people think about movie/game ratings. Do you think that kids aged 10 shouldnt watch movies like kill bill vol.1 or play games like gta? or do you think it's their choice? I personally feel as if ratings are useless. I went to R rated movies with "EXTREME VIOLENCE" labels and came out of the movie laughing. I've played gta vice city and have never went out in the streets with a bazooka in my hand. So i find ratings uselss and also the recent inforcments in my fav. movie theatre forces me to download movies ( from now in you need id to get in to A.A and R rates movies). So because of such stupid rules im forced to download the movies and thankfully …

  10. Share if you like. Readers discretion advised. Mine was very bad. I started the night out normally having 3 drinks at my sisters apartment with her, her fiance and her friend (who was really hot but not into me at all). Soon we went out and stopped at a bar which had a pretty good blues band playing. Me and her fiance and another couple competed in a game of darts which we won. Next we headed out to another place which I didn't like. I had a shot and a beer there. After we headed to a restaurant to get some chicken fingers and I had a beer there. Next we headed to a party where I had a beer. Everything was normal. We headed to this other party and that's where it …

I just finished watching Star Trek I, and right at the end Kirk describes the heading as, "Out there, thataways." I was like, man, if I was kirk, I'd throw the inertial dampers out a bit, be like chucking your car into 1st and footting it to the floor for 5 seconds. That would be sweet at warp 6.

how many (known) steps does it take for you to get to george bush? (no linking through members of this forum, since you can now all do it in at least 4 steps) my girlfriend's father [1] (who I have met) used to work with a close relative [2] of the former chinese leader [3] who has met George Bush [4]. I can even do it in 3, but through a less interesting channel. One of my lecurers [1] has worked with Tony Blair [2] who has met George Bush [3]

Hey, I run a little zine called the F.I.R.E. that has spread a wee bit. Unfortunatly one can't trust my friends to get anything done in time. My latest issue has been waiting three weeks for articles and I've only have two so far. I was wondering if any of you would like to put an article in it. Anything political, anti-political, or even just advertising or reviewing something. The name stands for Free Information Resource Everlasting. [blame me for that] I can e-mail anyone an issue of it if they want, just ask. Please, I need articles. I'll accept almost anything!

Alot of threads are being labeled with obscure or nonsensical titles these days. Check out the home page. I think it would be a good idea to give a better indication of what our threads are about in the future, to save confusion and attract more people to the posts. I'm not saying I haven't been guilty of this before, this is just a reminder.

My friend Brian runs http://www.vintagehost.net (Vintage Hosting Services), and has very reasonable prices for virtual domain hosting, reseller packages, and dedicated servers. Check him out, he's a great guy, and support is excellent. If you're looking for a Web Host, or are unhappy with your current Web Host, talk to Brian, you won't find a better combonation of price and service. (this where we host ScienceForums) (I know we have a policy against advertising, but I owe him one.)

Wel I had a dream that I had tetanus. Right after seeing myself being sick, I remembered that I had stepped on a nail. Then I told the doctor that I stepped on the nail and that's where I contracted tetanus. I got sicker and sicker. When I woke up, I was really scared. It was weird because I really thought I was awake. What was more weird was remembering something after something else happened. I remembered that I stepped on a nail after I got tetanus. Except that it didn't happen. It made me think. What if my memories were just made up right now off the top of my head? Kind of strange.

I have recently downloaded a whole bunch of ROMs from some really god sites. A lot made by Square Soft and a relatively old. Through much hard work, I've come to find that I personally think the original Star Ocean for SNES is the best ever. Seeing as not only are it's graphics better than any game created in its time, the storyline itself is just plain amazing.
