Is it just me or were there a bunch of threads and posts deleted? There was a bunch of active threads today and now they are all gone. They all say they were last posted yesterday. I KNOW there was a thread yt2095 made today about heat but it is gone...

Is anyone in the UK actually watching this? I've never seen such a load of drivel in my life. They're trying to boost ratings by throwing in a load of completely mismatched people and generally making their life hell. Personally it makes me want to watch it even less. Perhaps they should come around to the fact that the show's idea is good at first, and after that it just becomes boring. 5 series of this is really starting to get on my nerves now

I asked this question in the "Answer the previous question and ask the next poster a new one" thread, but I think it's interesting to see what people can come up with, so now you all have the opportunity to reply. When the time comes for you to die, how* would you most like to go out? * "I don't plan on dying" (or similar) is not a valid answer. "In bed with a beautiful man/woman" is cliché - we're going for originality here

Awe: An emotion of mingled reverence, dread, and wonder inspired by something majestic or sublime. Awesome: Inspiring awe, full of awe, of greatness Awful: Extremely bad or unpleasant, terrible horrible and dreadful So basically, if you have some awe, it is fantasic and good. But if you are full of awe, it is a horrible and bad. What gives?

Does anyone else have a problem where threads are not flagged as "read" after you read them? Anyone know what may be causing this? So far we've eliminated cookies and "sessions" as the trouble, but I don't really know what else it could be? I forget what browser he said he uses. Any suggestions?

Toilet Paper Orientation, over the top, or from the bottom? I personally refuse to use a roll of toilet paper that rolls off from the bottom. The correct and responsible way is for the paper to roll off from the top. Please provide your opinions and theories. My assumption is that those whom prefer the bottom feed method are partially retarded and most likely right handed.

damnit, never in my life have i ever imagined owning one of those rat dogs. but evidently my found found one she and my son liked, so now i'm stuck with a chiahuahua(sp?). and naturally i can't say no to them both anyway, i know that they tend to be pretty aggresive to strangers, but how are they to kids? this pup is only 8months or so and my son was pretty rough to him last night. so i wonder are these dogs pretty good with children? or do i need to get him through some heavy duty training??? any help is much appreciated.

Hey all you brains out there... I've always found it hard to believe that them big, hunkin' dinos were ever able to move around with them massive bodies -- heck, my friend that weigh a good 250 lbs sweats all over the place and he don't even have any fur or nothin. I've heard guys say that it's because the dinosaurs probably had "light" bones like birds. Yeah, but a pound of meat is a pound of meat and that's a lot of steak covering them bones. I always wondered if Earth's gravity somehow has increased over the ages -- maybe a shower of comets drenched the earth and increased it's mass and gravity. Any thoughts? SM
