Really, who's the bigger slut, the luscious and lascivious lindsey lohan or the hot and hedonistic hillary duff? Why? What are their failings? Their Attributes? Talents? I'm bored, an we were talking about during government today, so I thought I'd get a better idea of the public's opinion before reporting to my class

I have been thinking for a while now about what will happen in a few decades when we can effectively automate many of the tasks that make up the bulk of workforces in the world. Things like: stacking shelves, driving buses, checkout clerks, call centres, security, cleaning, waiters, fast food industry, factory work etc could all become jobs of the past, only creative positions would remain and people could have exceptionally short working weeks while still keeping the economy booming. Here are some of the question to think about: How would this impact on peoples perception of money? What would people do? Would goods become so cheap to make that we could have…

You ever notice how most people are a walking bag of contradictions? We have a knack for holding dichotomous beliefs, and then touting our beliefs like they are the only logical beliefs one could hold. This is, perhaps, most obvious in those who are involved with politics and religion. I'm including myself in that group, but I try to acknowledge the fact when I find myself having two beliefs that can't coincide (and usually one gives in). This forum has helped me to realize many contradictions in my own belief systems. Nevertheless, it's quite amusing pointing out people's contradictions, and then watching them tip-toe around the crumbling mountain of logic they'v…

I happen to be a fan of the Tycoon games (Rollercoaster, Lemonade, Plant...ect). It might just be the same mentality of the SIMs, being able to play god. Anyway, what sort of Tycoons do you like? What kind of tycoon game would you like to see? ( ______Tycoon).

Someone at school told me about something her brother does: He takes three cups/glasses of different colors and sets them on the table. Then he leaves the room, telling them to point at one once he's gone. Then he comes back and tells them what they pointed at. Apparently they've even locked him in the bathroom and he did it. He can do it with any set of cups, anywhere. Any clues as to how?

If anyone has received offensive or threatening PMs from Plankman (AKA Artorius), please forward them to myself or Blike. We have almost enough material to take his behaviour up with his ISP, and with his place of work/study (from which he connected to this site, so their [acr=Use of Internet Services]UIS[/acr] Policy will apply.)

Tell me something about yours - alive or dead. I want to tell you about my mother. She was born in 1907, she was 42 when I was born. She was an exceptionally cool and smart lady. Her father was an organist in the UK, she was born in Lancashire moved to Bridge of Allen, Scotland when she was 5, and to Ballymena, Northern Ireland, when she was 10. (If anyone knows about those areas I would like to hear from you.) When she turned 21, she inherited some money from an aunt. Her parents had arranged a marriage for her with a man she didn't like, so she took her money and immigrated to America, where she became a nurse/governess for a child with rhumatoid arthriti…

I noticed after 50 posts it now says "meson" next to my name. Before that it said "lepton". What do these terms mean? Keep in mind that if they are physics terms, it makes sense that I wouldn't know what they are. I suck at math.

I need a php script with an admin backend and a user-login front end. Coder needs experience with SSH2 protocall in PHP and tripleDES encoding of information via MySQL. Need to be able to initially install the script (i.e. install.php), and select all variables needed (database_name, database_username, database_password, admin_name, admin_password, anything else needed for the script to work). The login should be able to determine whether the admin or user logs in, and send to the appropriate page (i.e. admin.php or user.php). Description of admin page: - Need to be able to edit the database information - Add users and random passwords - Create/bind rem…

I was just wondering what some people's thoughts are about the new Doom3 movie that is coming out? I myself, think it is gonna suck. They (the movie people) have made such changes that it is not even Doom anymore. Anyone who wanted to see Hellkinghts, and what 'Hell' looks like, won't. Anyone who wants to see a real life interpretation of the Doom environment, won't. A) In the Doom3 movie there will be no UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation). The UAC is the whole point to Doom! The whole reason everything happens in the Doom trilogy is because of UAC going to Mars and studying new technological advances. This is not the way to go about making a movie about Doom. …
