I happen to be a fan of the Tycoon games (Rollercoaster, Lemonade, Plant...ect). It might just be the same mentality of the SIMs, being able to play god. Anyway, what sort of Tycoons do you like? What kind of tycoon game would you like to see? ( ______Tycoon).

Ive recently heard that people are cremated in batches.I had believed that people were burnt individually,it now seems that when the furnace is cooled. The remaing ashes are gathered and urns filled with what could be up to six peoples remains.Seems chances of taking your grandad home now is not so good.

Someone at school told me about something her brother does: He takes three cups/glasses of different colors and sets them on the table. Then he leaves the room, telling them to point at one once he's gone. Then he comes back and tells them what they pointed at. Apparently they've even locked him in the bathroom and he did it. He can do it with any set of cups, anywhere. Any clues as to how?

If anyone has received offensive or threatening PMs from Plankman (AKA Artorius), please forward them to myself or Blike. We have almost enough material to take his behaviour up with his ISP, and with his place of work/study (from which he connected to this site, so their [acr=Use of Internet Services]UIS[/acr] Policy will apply.)

Tell me something about yours - alive or dead. I want to tell you about my mother. She was born in 1907, she was 42 when I was born. She was an exceptionally cool and smart lady. Her father was an organist in the UK, she was born in Lancashire moved to Bridge of Allen, Scotland when she was 5, and to Ballymena, Northern Ireland, when she was 10. (If anyone knows about those areas I would like to hear from you.) When she turned 21, she inherited some money from an aunt. Her parents had arranged a marriage for her with a man she didn't like, so she took her money and immigrated to America, where she became a nurse/governess for a child with rhumatoid arthriti…

I noticed after 50 posts it now says "meson" next to my name. Before that it said "lepton". What do these terms mean? Keep in mind that if they are physics terms, it makes sense that I wouldn't know what they are. I suck at math.

  11. I need a php script with an admin backend and a user-login front end. Coder needs experience with SSH2 protocall in PHP and tripleDES encoding of information via MySQL. Need to be able to initially install the script (i.e. install.php), and select all variables needed (database_name, database_username, database_password, admin_name, admin_password, anything else needed for the script to work). The login should be able to determine whether the admin or user logs in, and send to the appropriate page (i.e. admin.php or user.php). Description of admin page: - Need to be able to edit the database information - Add users and random passwords - Create/bind rem…

I was just wondering what some people's thoughts are about the new Doom3 movie that is coming out? I myself, think it is gonna suck. They (the movie people) have made such changes that it is not even Doom anymore. Anyone who wanted to see Hellkinghts, and what 'Hell' looks like, won't. Anyone who wants to see a real life interpretation of the Doom environment, won't. A) In the Doom3 movie there will be no UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation). The UAC is the whole point to Doom! The whole reason everything happens in the Doom trilogy is because of UAC going to Mars and studying new technological advances. This is not the way to go about making a movie about Doom. …

Especially the new Mark 77 Fire Bombs, that they say are close to naplalm, which they say they've destroyed. Also things like cluster bombs and fuel air bombs...which are indiscriminate as to who they kill. Theres also been the depleted uranium shells. And the worst of all the white phosphor (WP) shells that produce a wall of fire that they say melt the bodies of the people near it. It says that they used naplam and white phosphor in the attacks on Fallujah here: http://houston.indymedia.org/news/2004/11/35013.php

Was immer du tun kannst oder träumst es zu können, fang damit an! Mut hat Genie, Kraft und Zauber in sich. I learned this from an SFN poster named Freeman Goethe said it. Anyone want to make serious try at an adequate English translation "Whatever you can do, or even dream that you can, begin at once! The courage to try has its own genius, strength, and magic."

What other languages are you guys learning/ proficient at? I started learning Japanese this year for my foreign language credit. Right now I'm just focusing on Romaji (roman letters) but it's still a bit confusing and complicated. Anyway I was just curious what other languages (besides English) everybody speaks. Any comments on learning Japanese?
