I am a science student who do no longer believe that global warming & climate change (theory) are results of man activities. Yeah, i believed it sometimes back but now I am convinced that it is just a propaganda, a way of making money from governments.(but u're not obliged to believe it too!). My problem is that in order to get marks in exams I am supposed to defend and clearly( if not persuasively) convince the teacher that it is the case.(You know all these chemistry eqns, physics ,essays and whatever is taught about global warming as a result of Co2 emissions ,etc.. when for me I believe otherwise.what should I do? Thank you!

Broadcast live on channel 4 on the night of the polls the show will feature a mix of the countries top comedians alongside respected political commentators. One item that we are keen to feature is a selction of polls from different people in society. I have been tasked to poll everyone from Cab drivers to hairdress…

Has anybody noticed the clout of particles (lint?) coming with every peace of tissue pulled out of the box or is that only my cheap brand. It's most easily seen in rays of sunlight. If so, is that proper and or legal?

Got a HD TV, and after having problems, Comcast switched the Cable Box from their Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250HDC to supposedly the newest thing, a CISCO RNG150. Am authorized for various premium stations and On Demand Video. Have always been able to record to either of my DVD/VCR recorders. Now when I try to record, get a message that it is Protected and cannot be recorded. Of course, Comcast just tells me that it an equipment problem. Of course it is, it's their hook up or the cable box. Until the new type cable box was connected, have alway been able to record anything that we are authorized for. Now even the NBC, CBS, ABC etc. stations are protected. …

Of course, there are actually pros and cons but... 3 years ago I went from the States to Australia to marry the woman I met in an on line chat room long ago in 1998. I've by no means been more happy and online relationships can function out properly, (but then that's another topic, isn't it?). The only negative thing is that i miss the regular touch I had created along with my personal family group... that is until I discovered VOIP. Right now I talk to my mum quite a few times a week and my sister nearly each weekend... for Free of charge! . Say what you wish against VOIP, however the services it gives for me is priceless.

Anyone familiar with the band Insane Clown Posse is probably aware they're not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed. Their latest music video, however, takes the cake: _-agl0pOQfs They've got a "theory" about magic and miracles! Rainbows, giraffes, and magnets! These things cannot be explained. They are miracles. Their children look like they do (I assume they mean under the facepaint). It's a miracle! F*cking magnets, how do they work? I dunno, it's a miracle! "I don't want to talk to a scientist. Y'all motherf*ckers is lying and getting me pissed!"

Hey guys! It has been a while since I posted so hopefully this one will be good. Basically I have a table of prime numbers. What is to write this table as an image - from 1 too 480000 - showing each cell that is a prime as white and the others as black. So basically I'm cycling the numbers from 1-480000 and if they are prime then I want the cell white and otherwise black. I also want to be able to wrap the table to 800x600 pixels. Any help appreciated.

Recently I've watched some very cool movies which involve science, physics, etc. I was wondering if anyone knows of any cool and scientifically correct movies that I could watch, I enjoy them very much. If you're still confused, an example is 'The Manhattan Project'. Please do not mention the movie 'Hackers' or any sequels.

  22. Some of my clothes have "hand wash only" on the label, and until now I never really attempted to hand wash my clothes. But coincidentally, I found myself out of laundry detergent, and I didnt really feel like running down to the organic store to pick up anymore. So, I had a bright idea : use liquid dish detergent instead. So as a test, I filled up my bathtub with warm water and suds it up with dish detergent, and threw some clothes in. (And then I suddenly realized why I never handwashed clothes, because kneeding everything by hand is an intense workout!) I kept like colors with each other, so the first batch of clothes were a bunch of black skirts, dresses, and sweat…

Name the song and band from these lyrics. All answers will have something to do with a female (a specific one, or female(s) in general). And since I'm not a teenager or recently in college, these songs are from last century. 1. She's fashionably lean, and she's fashionably late 2. You'll see us together, chasing the moonlight 3. You could say she was attractively built 4. She's got a daughter and you're just not coping 5. Thursday night your stockings needed mending. 6. You've got your nuclear boots 7. (Note: I'd ask this in a Health Sciences forum if there were one. If a mod knows where health science-related questions should go, feel free to toss this thread in there) After visiting Japan and using a Washlet (an integrated toilet/bidet/blowdryer combo) using toilet paper makes me feel like I'm in the stone age. Yet it seems like most of the western world still relies on toilet paper as the primary way of "cleaning" after defecation. When I have seen bidets outside of Japan, they generally take the form of a separate unit beside the toilet with a hand-operated faucet, as opposed to the electronically-controlled Japanese all-in-one models. What's the deal? A…
