Hey, guys I'm curious why when one goes to another's (or their own's) profile page to see their past threads/posts on SFN only the last few are listed? I'm not angry or anything but I think it would be better if somebody could incorporate a feature which allows users to view all their past posts/threads? Would this be possible in any way? It's just sometimes it's a bit hard to find out who has responded to you threads until you go through all the pages of each individual subforum which can get a bit tedious. The search feature also doesn't seem to be working as well (at least on my computer and several others).

Actually three questions: How do I accept (or reject) comments for my latest blog article? How do I add links to my articles? What are TAGS and how do I add them to my articles? (Sorry to be so thick.)

Hey there. I used to be a total lover of this place and such, but things have happened and such, and ive kind of drifted elsewhere in interest. But im trying to kind of wipe off my history on different sites, how do you delete your profile here? I cant quite find a delete button or anything. XD Sorry, im not abondoning you guys or anything, I just dont have time or anything anymore, and I dont want my name to be under science forums from back when I was younger to be my first thing that pops up on google. Not that thats a bad thing or anything, I just want to be known differently and such, no offense to anyone, please. =]

In the past I've accidentally hit the wrong button, and I can't change it, so there should be the ability to change your vote if you want.

Thought I would explain why I behaved so... frivolously a week ago. I intentionally did it. I was sick that people could get away with some of the most foul comments and so I wondered how long it would be before I got a ban if I dished out some foul comments myself. Did it work? Yes it did. I even served my time. But what gets me is that the culprits before me never got a ban, only polite warnings. Anyway. I don't think I will be spending as much time here after today, something I decided during my little break. Which I am sure, will make some of you all the great deal happier.

Ive started one thread on this site, in the astronomy and cosmology forum, that was moved to the "speculation" forum. At its base, I do not have a problem with a thread being moved (which is essentially a form of censorship but that's OK) if the subject steps into the realm of "hey I've got a new idea or concept and I want to bounce it around". But there is a difference between discussing a new idea that is based on accepted mainstream science vs a pseudoscientific, conspiracy theorist, tin foil on head, Mayan calendar, 2012, 7 headed Revalations beast, fountain of youth discovered thread. Anyone with an IQ of 100 can sniff out the lunatics. It becomes particularl…

I was reading an article earlier about the use of "user" vs "customer", and how the former is more sterile while the latter humanizes the individual who is consuming a product or using a service. I think that's right, and I've talked about users of this site in some threads we've had on so-called censorship and also dealing with complaints about the speculations forum. And I should modify that — people who come to this site to follow a discussion are not users, they are customers. If we were to apply the adage that the customer is always right we should conclude that the staff, i.e. the people who run the site, need to bend over backwards to please the people who visit…

Sometimes I know there was some topic I posted in but I don't remember where it was, I looked in my personal posts section in my profile but it's limited to a handful of recent posts. I think you should be able to view every post you've ever made or at least every post in the last week.

Hello guys, how are you? I hope good... Well, I have a forum that's like this one but in portuguese and I would love to use LaTeX on it too, but, I found some problems installing and I would love if someone could help me out. "A working distribution of LaTeX. This kind of goes without saying – if you’re using Linux, look into the TeXlive distribution." - this one is on the host? I need to have it on my host? "You absolutely must have a copy of dvipng installed. This plugin will not work without it." - how do I install it? There is a simple way to use LaTeX on my forum? Best regards. Alexandre.

Nearly every day I receive notifications that someone (Adannarib, eljbepuqejevu) has replied to the thread 'real beauty', a thread in which I participated. As far as I can tell though, no one has responded to that thread since 05-Jun-2013.

Sometimes when I use LaTeX on here there will be span tags everywhere. Removing spaces helps a little, but then there are still a ton left. Is there a way to fix this? Alright, I fixed my post by going to the html mode and editing it from there.

I was thinking, could there be an implementation of a feature where when a user posts a post with a Latex equation and if the equation is wrong(let's say people make minor errors without knowing it) and instead of having to make a post saying the mistake in the equation the user who sees the error can just click on the code(or some other mechanism) in the post and edit it from there and give reasoning to why it was edited. Of course, the user who edits it must be a certain rank, but it would save posts. I don't know if it would be possible, but it is an idea.
