    virus?

do virus contain vitamins and minerals?
  2. okay so tissue like skeletal muscle get nutrients which go through capillaries(paracellularly), and these capillaries are sigle layered. i know some veins or maybe arteries have cappilaries running through them. but some of them don't right? th veins and arteries are multilayered composed of smooth muscle cells and others. for the veins and arteries that don't have cappillaries running through them, i think i know how the cells in the innermost layer get nutrients, but how does nutrient get to cell layers that are not in direct contact with blood, does nutrient go between(paracellular) or through(transcellular) the cells of the inner layers? also the outermost layer does not allow nutrient flow from the intravascular to the extravascular or from the extravascular to the intravascular right?
  3. how can one measure total magnesium content and total atp content in muscle biopsy. thanks
  4. the liquid cooking oil, that says vegitable oil or vegitable oil blend is not hydrogenated right? hydrogenated oils are usually solid at room temperature right? i checked the label coudn't find any mention if it was hydrogenated or not. thanks
  5. so i know that red blood cells carry oxygen in hemoglobin, and the red blood cells are delivered to cells, but does the red blood cell derectly transfer oxygen to the cell? or does it diffuse to plasma first? can someone explain what technically happens to get oxygen from red blood cells into the cells of thte body?
  6. just found out ,red blood cells unload oxygen into plasma, plasma carrying oxygen unloads oxygen into cells normally if you get a cut the scab turns black logically because of red blood cells, but what if the cut is into an avascular layer like epidermis would th scab turn black or stay yellow from less or lack of red blood cells?
  7. how does the epidermis get oxygen there are no blood vessels? also if get a cut, no deeper than the epidermis ,would the scab turn dark or black or stay yellow?
  8. so in the laboratory, is there something called an ultrafilter? or something that performs this kind of task?
  9. what does ultrafilterable mean? example non-ultrafilterable magnesium thanks
  10. i think its nmr, nmri, nmrs..... nuclear magnetic resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
  11. some times mri is with radiotracer or contrast , does mrs sometimes require radio tracer or contrast or something similar? in vivo or laboratory.
  12. what type of tissue makes up cappillarries, veins and arteries ?
  13. is there anything strong enough for pain fom minor surgery like muscle biopsy, that acts locally, and without the need for central anesthetia, but doesn't numb you like local anesthetic?
