Why would you assume that?

The Fundamental Interrelationships Model Part 2
Hmm, the theory of everything... When is it reasonable to assume that? Hmm... IOW, how could you get a PhD in everyting, bro???

What are the best two words and the worst two words in the English language
For me 'I'm high' is both but context dependant... 🙃

Does it make sense to debate ideological fanatics?
Only when you look, which is my point... 😉

Does it make sense to debate ideological fanatics?
You can't debate with someone who's certain they're correct, but it makes sense to talk to them and learn from them; otherwise you run the risk of being the ying to their yang, and so no one learns anything. Life is never binary unless your in a pub quiz.

In Case You Missed it ?
We're all standing on that platform, potentially, the realisation of which certainly focuses the mind. 😇

In Case You Missed it ?
That's bascally my position on the subject, it seems to me to be the most stable platform from which to interpret the various Bible's, e.g. I can forgive myself for being jealous as fuck, as long as I didn't, actually, wring your neck... 🙂

In Case You Missed it ?
And long may it continue, with certain caveats...

In Case You Missed it ?
The original language no longer exists, all anyone can do is take a best guess. And there in lies the problem, I'm not saying JWs aren't smart, but the many ways the scriptures have been divided; should lead to a scholarly understanding of misunderstanding...

In Case You Missed it ?
Given his proclivity towards the mysterious, we're lucky he settled on gravity as the, sort of, answer; we could all be obsessed with creating gold... 🙃

In Case You Missed it ?
I think it describes the moment of enlightenment, metaphorically one joins god and so no longer needs its guidance.

An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
Did they tell you that?

An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
I'm not surprised, difficult question's can make idiots of us all; it's probably best to ignore them, if one wants peace of mind. 😉

An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
That's like asking a dog to explain what a smell looks like. If you don't share an understanding, then the marriage is doomed...

At best it will be recognised as you dating one of them... ATM a dog is more intelligent than your intended bride, verbal regurgitation without a recognised contextual logic, is delt with a simple whine or an appropriate yap. It's way more difficult to argue that a dog isn't conscious, than it is to argue that a very sophisticated loom/automaton can feel anything outside it's program/machinery.

An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
Of course it does, it's not my fault that you're mistaken...

An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
Maybe you are so ill, that you know not for whom that particular bell tolls/chimes/resonates... IOW, what makes you think you're correct?
-
An Experimental Report: Verifiable Sensory Curation and Subjective Awareness in a Large Language Model
You've fallen into the logical trap that assumes, my intelligence is a superior model bc my dad was clearly wrong

In Case You Missed it ?
It's essentially piety, in a viral state, which is specifically warned against in the bible, fundamentally it's got nothing to do with religious teaching; a reasonable parallel is Hitler's take away, from the teachings of Neitsche... 😉

Are LLMs AI, or is the claim that they are just hype?
Yes, they are mostly hype, ATM 😊
-
What will replace LLMs?
Indeed, digital will always be limited to an absolute at some stage.

How would you counter the "science was wrong before" argument?
The philosophy of religion is more about how to control the destructive emotions when the target is unobtainable and provide a platform from which to enjoy those that have. "Rollover"? Are you talking about reincarnation? I was referring to the information Joigus provided. It is, yes, but it is also about much more than that. One thing that it is about is repairing the damage. Karma is not a Christian concept where we get a one-way ticket to hell if we damage ourselves. Karma is also about repairing the damage, it is about redemption, it is about balance. It is also about more than an individual's soul, as it is also about cultures, societies, species, ecosystems -- the balance in everything. Bolded mine. this is your bias talking and why you're fundamentally wrong; karma and god are the same thing, a story we should tell ourselves for the sake of society, as it's a by product of our own contentment/happiness.

What will replace LLMs?
I don't think that, what makes you think I do? I think the most useful product of our current iteration of llms is in trying to decipher the language of our fellow animal's, an emergent quality of that is anyones guess...

What will replace LLMs?
What will replace llms? More and more sophisticated llms and then suddenly an, impossible to predict, emergent property changes the title...
