Why is there a Great Divide between animal designs? Never read anything about this anywhere!
Size and it's relation to gravity probably has a great deal to do with limb number's, since more than four limbs only exists below the weight of bigish spider, on land.

The evolution of motivated reasoning in humans.
What would convince you? What if your entire culture is a lie and it's you that fit's both 1 and 2, what rational would be convincing to either end of the po;itical extreme

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
Your half right, but only if you live in a strange mash up of the Marvell universe and South Park, in which Trump would be capitan specious, his kryptonite is paint and corners... 🤔 The only thing that will change is the volume and definition of an executive order.

Why are you posting in my political topic, instead of your own? Do you see my point?

Which would be negated by them actually having one or at least a creditable threat of one, instead they've given them a far more potent weapon, with their God knows what threat, like a curse from the grave. The economy is to big to fail...

I know Iran is a problem child/country, but what would be so wrong if we let them spend their life savings developing a bomb they can't use, other than the leverage to sit at the top table. Who knew a thousand, table top bombs, would be more effective than a million tonnes of force...

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
This has all the hallmarks of "the charge of the light brigade", not only a pointless war, but also from a culture (the British Army), that auctioned off all the top job's to the highest bidder rather than the best candidates. "The British soldier will do his duty, even to certain death, and is not paralyzed by the feeling that he is the victim of some hideous blunder,"

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
It was just an observation that the people in the Whitehouse aren't stupid, they're intelligent people that don't even have to consider their level of competence; such people will just ignore anyone saying that what they're doing is stupid bc they know their not stupid. Even the smartest of human's can stray into that minefield. However I'm not so sure that Trump fits that definition.

Greed is a manifestation of the fear of not having enough, it's mostly a bully move.

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
Seems to me that they're subsets of fear, or it's the old bully delusion, power must equal win cuz it's obviously true. It runs riot throughout humanity, they weren't pointing out how stupid people think, they were pointing out that we don't know what we don't know, and we all suffer from that.

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
There is only one logical reason for war and it has nothing to do with defense. The weak minded are easily confused by the concept... And the woke brigade made it possible... Don't get me wrong, I'm as woke as they come... But some of the extremists went to far, and so naturally, the pendulum swings back, but again, way to far...

The evolution of motivated reasoning in humans.
TBH I'm not sure how to answer. Not in the context of this topic/title, I understand the process of evolution, what I'm suggesting is the process is interrupted bc our civilisation has determined that certain things/people can live or they have to die. Of course evolution will catch up, I refer you to my previous analogue of the Australian mice plague's.

The evolution of motivated reasoning in humans.
So, what your saying is that every human invention, will result in a natural 'human' evolutionary path, my arguement would be crispr cas9. I'm saying human inventions pervert our evolutionary path, creating cities and more proximity than we're naturally comfortable with.

An expanding population had to invent money, and there's nothing more seductive to a wishful thinker. I think this is where we diverged from a natural evolutionary path.

“The Star Mangled Spanner”
In poker it's known as a donk bet. Donk betting carries risks: It can reveal information about the bettor’s hand, making it harder to balance a range. Acting out of position generally puts the bettor at an informational disadvantage. Overuse can make the player exploitable, especially in heads-up pots.

I understand that there's a natural evolutionary process that leads to some sort of wishful thinking, I'm thinking that politics has suprcharged and monetised the trait due to our ever expanding populous and the proximity that results. Much like how religion's use it to bring peace to people and politics corrupts religion's to bring fear.

The evolution of motivated reasoning in humans.
TBH I was hoping for a little more footfall to help me clarify and order my thought's. What I'm suggesting is, the pace of human progress/growth is outstripping that of our ability to evolve naturally into the role, much like the mice plague in Australia. There's loads of anecdotes out there that suggests the problem's found in cities don't really exist in villages.

The evolution of motivated reasoning in humans.
I liken my hypothesis to the demise of the African 'tusker', very quickly the females no longer find them attractive. I think our natural evolution got us ready for a village, conceptually the size of a city is like trying to imagine the size of space.

Of what, poverty or our inate sense of fairness? This is political, evidence is tertiary. What I'm suggesting is a feedback loop.
