Yeah, I saw that quote on tumblr, too. And yes, I agree. However, a lot of Americans watch Fox and trying to convince them to do otherwise with condescending remarks and a superior attitude won't help our situation.
Plenty of sources of information shouldn't be trusted, not just Fox. Criticism is counterproductive. Misinformation happens.

If someone believes they are only sexually attracted to the opposite sex, and "choose" to enter a sexual relationship with the same sex, then they are not only sexually attracted to the opposite sex, and that is not a conscious decision.
Perhaps your statement is true with some same-sex relationships who don't engage in sexual activity.

It's my opinion that once an amount of money surpasses a baseline requirement to cover pretty much the lowest tier of Maslow's hierarchy, it is then frivolous and purely for enjoyment. Which is still of value- but not as necessary as the basic physiological requirements.
As far as I know, steer clear of all of them except psychology. They will all require higher level mathematics.
If you hate math, I don't see how a physics degree wouldn't be torture. It's a huge part of the life sciences as well.
