Sure. A large enough system of water, with a density of 1kg/l will gravitationally collapse to form a BH. The problem that makes it extremely unlikely ( no one ever mentioned impossible ), is the amount of water needed. You would need about 1031 kg, or over 20 solar masses. So ... extremely unlikely.

I don't think so. It would be extremely 'painful' for China to try to take the island, as things currently stand, as it wouldn't be just Taiwan's and US forces resisting. All other regional powers would become involved, as they all have vested interests in the South China Sea, and oppose China's expansionist ambitions. China is happy playing the 'long game', and Xi is attempting to thaw relations with D Trump, specifically. He's hoping for Trump to abandon Taiwan, like he did Ukraine, with the promises of financial/economic incentives. Maybe Trump will send Kushner and Witkoff to negotiate a 'peace' deal, where Taiwan surrenders to China, and Trump's family can build hotels/casinos/resorts/golf courses in China.

As with anything else that adversely affects people, one has to simply 'follow the money'. It seems the 'Tech Bros' have donated huge sums of money to MAGA Inc., a super PAC supporting D Trump, even though he's currently, and illegally, using tax payer money to publcise himself and all the 'good' he's done ( see the running TV ads ). Strikes me as looking for any difference between particle types, and working backwards to make that difference account for matter/anti-matter inbalance. A good 'first step'; I would prefer the reasoning to work forward, establishing a causal relation.
