I don’t know why that is, sorry, but if it helps, I was taught that the diastolic reading is the more important one. So it would seem you have an accurate result for that if arm and wrist are giving same readings.

It’s usual to get a higher reading of both at the wrist.

I read the article and it was, IMO, a lot of word salad. The first Sunday after I moved into my current home, two ladies knocked at my door. I answered, and as is usual whenever someone sees me for the first time, they had a lot of questions about why I wear strange ‘Stormtrooper’ boots and use crutches.
