I'm currently taking this subject and I need help looking for cases to write in my journal. I have to pass it by the end of this month. Can someone please help me look for cases online? By cases I meant documented cases in counseling where the counselor has assessed the subject and put in details etc. as to his/her condition, the implications and carried out devices/means to help the subject cope with his/her condition. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I need help with the following questions, any help would be greatly appreciated Find the flaw in the following "contradiction": According to relativity, length (or distance) decreases and time increases as speed increases. Since speed is the ratio of distance to time, however, speed should decrease as distance and time increases In the Michelson-Morley experiment, no interference pattern was found. This meant that both light beams completed the same total distance in the same time. What would be a corresponding result in the boat-river analogy? what would be its signifigance?

The factors for 156 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12, 13, 26, 39, 52, 78, 156 grouped by last digit {1},{2, 12, 52},{3,13},{4},{6, 26, 156},{78},{39} Fenders are defined as factor enders. For example the fenders (factor enders) of 156 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and that 156 is a 7-fender (that is, it has seven fenders). (Question 1) Show that a number which has 0 and 9 as fenders has at least four more fenders. (Question 2) The smallest 10-fender is less than 700. Find it and explain why it is the smallest.

Doing some revision and I've got a question I struggling with, it's not assessed. I'm having real issues with it: A particle of unit mass moves under a central force in the logarithmic spiral orbit, [math]r=ke^{\alpha \theta}[/math], where k and [math]\alpha[/math] are constants. Given the expression for accleration in plane polar coordinates [math]\bold a = (\ddot r - r \dot \theta^2)e_r + r(r \ddot \theta + 2 \dot r \dot \theta)e_\theta[/math] deterimine [math]\theta (t)[/math and r(t). Derive an expression for the force as a function of radias. My first idea was to differntiat [math]r=ke^{\alpha \theta}[/math] twice, reform it into [math]\thet…

Hi I got my essay (on Lord of the Flies and Macbeth) topic for my grade 10 english exam, which is tomorrow.: "A belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wikedness." - Joseph Conrad At first, I was going to disagree with this since Lord of the Flies and Macbeth have supernatural evils, but I realized the ambiguity of the quotation: If Conrad defines supernatural source of evil as something that's: 1) evil then it's impossible to know every wikedness without believing supernatural evil. 2) not evil then men do know every wikedness. 3) a concrete thing like the witches in Macbeth, then it its p…

Hi guys, i was hopeing someone would be able to guide me through this problem. for part (a) i get the transformed equation to be [math] \frac{d^2y}{ds^2}+\frac{4}{s}\frac{dy}{ds} = -\lambda y [/math] i am not 100% sure this is correct, although i have been through the working about 5 times now as for the rest of the question, well, i guess i really need to get part (a) before i can attempt the rest hey? and i don't really get this eigenvalue/vector stuff for functions :S i suppose (a) isnt really my problem, its the rest of the question that is really giving me a hard time! Thanks -Sarah

hey i am having a bit of trouble with this problem, as the course textbook has nothing on doing these problems using green's functions (all we have is a few slides of dodgey lecture notes)... anyways... the problem.. so to start with, for part (a) now from what i can gather, the BVP has a unique solution if and only if the corresponding HBVP (homogeneous boundary value problem) y''=0, y(0)=0, y(1) = 0 has no solution other than the trivial one, y(x) = 0. i guess then the associated HLDE (homogenous linear differential equation) needs to be solved... so y''(0) = 0 so we look for answers of the form y(x) = Ax + B the…

Hi. For my math class, our teacher gives an assignment which entails finding a website about a subject that we have studied sometime during the semester, and writing a summary/evaluation for it. Since we have done a fairly new outlook on conic sections, one that has actually made them passably interesting, I was hoping to find an interesting website on them. Does anyone have an suggestions? Something along the lines of uses of conics, conics in 4+ dimensions, conics in hyperbolic space, or something else thats a new take on conics. Thanks for your help!
