Hey everyone.. I need you help asap. I have 11 molecules I need to synthesize, starting from the basics like benzene and ethene, each time. The major problem with the amines is that I when I want to produce 1o or 2o amines I dont want a mixure of 1o,2o and 3o amines so I cant use the reaction: RCH2Cl+NH3 (but I can use RCOCl+ NH3 and then LiALH4). All the molecules are in the attached word document. Every little help or tip is valuable for me since my exams are pretty close. Thanks in advance Organic chemistry mol.docx

These are 20 questions from a chemistry test I do not understand. I have the answers, but no solution. If anyone could explain the solutions to me that would be great. 1. What is conjugate acid of NH4+ in the reaction: [NH4+] + [OH-] ->[H2O] + [NH3]. The answer to this: H2O 2. The freezing point of p-dichlorobenzene is 53.1 degrees Celsius; its Kf value is -7.10 oC/m. A solution of 1.25 grams of a sulfa drug in 10.0 g of p-dichlorobenzene freezes at 47.1 oC. What is the molecular weight of the sulfa drug? Answer: 148 3. A sample consisting of 25.00 mL of 0.200 M HBr is titrated with a solution of NaOH, which is 0.15 M. What is the pH of the solution afte…

Hi, In general I am very new in programming. Write a program that compares the sign of pairs of 32-bit numbers from two arrays of numbers and counts how many of them have a different sign. Now I tried to solve but somehow I got stuck and wondering how to do that? First I have to create two arrays and then I have to do two loops for iterate through each array and compare them and if there is difference between the sign then I have to take in account otherwise I have to leave it and finally if I am finished with comparing the array or if I am reaching the end of the array then I have to return the total count. Is the way of thinking correct? Array1 = …

I made this model of the p24 protein, HIV capsid, on PyMol. The code on PDB is 6mqa. I indicated the active site by identifying the isolated amino acid sequence, however I am not sure if what I've done is accurate. Please let me know if I have identified the active site correctly and if all the markings and measurements are correct.

Hi all, This is most likely a silly question. Can a moment anywhere along a beam be equivalently modelled as to two small blocks welded @ 90deg to original beam and have coupling loads applied? (See hand sketch attached) Can this type of moment be constant or uniform along the beam because point loads are parallel? I've attached a Text book example showing the Moment being constant along Section B-C of beam due to load being parallel to that section. While Section A-B the moment varies as a function of distance. I'm just trying to get a better understanding of the difference btw moments along a beam, and a moment created due to a perpendicular po…

The problem says: The equation R(dQ/dt)+Q/C=E describes the charge Q on a capacitor, where R, C, and E are constants. (a) Find Q as a function of time if Q=0 at t=0. (b) How long does it take for Q to attain 99% of its limiting charge? I solved (a) and I got Q=-exp(-t/RC+ln(EC))+EC. But I don't know how to solve (b), I don't know what to equal Q to solve for t.

Go to the link below and click on page 49 and question 1.24. https://scholar.harvard.edu/files/david-morin/files/relativity_chap_1.pdf So assuming I am understand the question correctly Bob and Alice have the same location in both frames. Event 0 everything is 0. event 1 I assume both Alice and Bob are at the same location for every location. So I am just doing the calculations once for Alice's frame for Alice and Bob's frame for Bob. I am not sure if the question asked it but I also did prime frame for Alice and Bob. gamma = 2 v = .866c t = 1 sec I go d = vt = (1 s)(.866c) = .866LS (for lorentz transform) Then t = 2 I could do the…
