My mom puts these scent things in the outlet to make the house smell good, but they reek!! Have you ever sat next to an old lady who has practically bathed in cheap perfume? That is what my entire house smells like at this moment.

I think the mods have too much power, while closing threads is good thing sometimes, i do not think it is always the best measure of resolution. I think we should make such decisions democratically-- or something like that. The parties wishing to be involved will enter a session to resolve issues before the final move is made. Thats what this site is missing --- active government, where citizens have a say too. I am partially kidding, oh well i don't know what i'm saying, just everyone make fun of my idiocy or something

a tiny monkey has a truly unique personality, infact its hard to describe. His uniqueness is due to the reasons he makes his decisions, which we may never know, because he may never tell us. i admire this consistency. just an observation, to see what happens if anything. I personally would like to come to understand this creative individual if possible, and what factors created his current form. This may seem ridiculus or sarcastic, or something but i am serious. Well i guess we will see what happens now.

what do you think those people on the board look like (who don't have pics that is)?? I'll start...... I think Dudde is a big cheerful blonde lad with nice teeth. I imagine Radical Edward to be dark haired and slim, perhaps with glasses and Sayonara must be curved and yellow. J/K Sayonara!

    1. I want you to think about one subject that you are very knowledgeable about, can be anything, from why the sky is blue to why your feet smeel worse than mine Anything you are confident that you can hold a conversation about. 2. Make a statement about that sublect. Like if your subject is earth, your statement can be "the earth is big" 3. Ask yourself "why" , and see how long you can continue to answer yourself intelligently. Ive asked 11 people to do this so far and no one has been able to answer more than 15 whys without answering "because" or "shutup and leave me alone" Post your questions and answers if you have time, its interesting reading.

  12. Sorry for the long name. So, I started this to ask two questions, does any one out there watch Japanese Anime? You know, like Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, .Hack/Sign, etc... Man, those are awsome shows. I was also wondering, does any in this strange diluted Universe know where I could find a good tutorial for drawing Japanese Anime? I tried http://www.BakaNeko.com, a great Oekaki Bourd, but their tutorials suck. Any sugestions?

i didn't put this in a science forum because it does not relate to science, it relates to the forum of which it shares the name. Where did it go? I was kind of looking forward to looking at the new posts on it.

I need to get off of my butt and get a job. I'm gonna work for my dad today, I haven't for a long time because when I do work for him regular he runs out of work for me (tax accounting office, I do the filling and mailing and such), so I need to find a regular job. I'm going to make a resume right now, and go job searching at the mall for an ordinary job after work today. Anyway I'd really rather have a fun job, I'm only 16.5yrs old so I suppose my options are rather limited. Anyone got any good ideas?

I would like to say it gets really annoying when looking for interesting threads to find one closed. There is some things I would like to have a say in, but the thread is closed. The I have to go out and start a new thread just to get my say in. Its very annoying. Why can't you find some kind of voting thing for closing threads? Let everyone finnish talking, before the conversatin is complete. Even asks those who weren't in the conversasion if the don't mind the thread closing, cause some who don't know the threxistd, aso might have something to say.

I would like to make a statment. I beleive that earths future is going downhill. I mean, who is next in line to take control? At the moment the most powerful man in the world is George Bush. Am I the only one who is worried about that? And what of the future, it looks to me like the Neds/Jocks are going to inherit the earth anyway. I mean, the meek ain't gonna inherit shit.

Right, lately whenever I try to go into the chat room, it says "sorry - unable to connect to server" or some such shit (sorry, I know it's shocking when oldies like me swear)!! Who's having a laugh at my expense...why is it telling me this and what is the problem. Answers on a postcard to me here at the science forums.

Having just found out that one of my fellow graduands has died I was a bit shell shocked. I was a mature student so she was a good bit younger than me and can only have been about 31 or so. It made me think about my own mortality and what legacy i'd like to leave behind. I'd like to known as a cool Mum (which my kids friends think I am but not my kids...haha), a not too shabby scientist and most importantly a person who made others feel good. I think I'm basically OK but in some ways I'm a doormat so that's the only thing I'd like to change.......what would the rest of you like to change or what would you like your legacy to be?
