First off, I would like to say how happy I am to discover such a forum! I was searching google for a calculus forum and this site popped up. Okay, this is something that's bugged me for a little while but I never bothered asking about. What's with the big blue dots on the left side of the forums? What I mean is why are some blue and others not? And it's always the same ones that are blue because at first I just thought it was whichever forums had the most members. Any real reason or did someone just decide the site looked better with them?

I was looking at the "Who's online" page, and I saw something called a "yahoo slurp spider"... What's a spider? (maybe this is relevant for computer science board?)

Three times, over the past few days, while replying to a post and hitting the submit butting, I have found that I had been logged out, and of course, my post not submitted. Has this happened to anyone else ? Is there a timer on how long you can reply to a post?

Had an idea from another thread where my windows theme was, err, commented on! So looking for a new good one, anyone using windows XP attach your windows theme so others can download and see what it's like. To get your .theme file: On desktop right click and selet properties Go to the "Themes" tab It'll say "Theme: [name]" and there's a Save As button, so chose to save as and note where you are saving the file to. Hi, I have been active on these forums for the past couple of weeks and I have learned a lot and I want to say Thank you. This probably has been brought up already, but I think it would nice to have a forum dedicated to nanotechnology. If i were to have this battery pack set with an on/off switch and two wires coming from it to the electric ignitors on the estes rocket engine, when i flip the switch the ignitors should light, right?
