Don't stay in the dark about this controversial chemical anymore! I'm sure you science guys will understand the signficance of this important research.

Okay, Penn and Teller did this too. Where's your petition? I love me some H2O.

lol, this one just won't die will it, I heard it for the first time at least five or six years ago! Unfortunately, some people probably really believe in it...

Sorry I'm smarter than you'd hoped. It's not your fault... really. No need to call me a loser and spell it wrong too. L337 15 57up1d.

I nominate this post for an infraction!

Nah. The irony of someone using L337 to call someone a "loser" because a really old joke was pointed out is just too much.

The only question in my mind is whether L337 draws more or less disdain than "texting" on a forum.

Hahaha...at least I got someone all stoked up.

By the way, I nominate you for President.

Hahaha...at least I got someone all stoked up.

Who would that be?

Not dihydrogen monoxide! We're all gonna die!!! Next we're gonna have upsideown clouds raining into space and rivers flowing backwards. And sodomized electrons flatening us all!.

I hear that the closely related compounds, Deuterium Monoxide and Tritium Monoxide are even more dangerous!

Drinking deuterated water instead of normal = a bad and expensive idea.

Drinking tritiated water instead of normal = a worse end even more expensive idea. Didn't some pissed off power plant employee put tritiated reactor coolant water in a water cooler some time back? Mmm-mmm, superheavy and supertasty.

First time I've heard this!...

assuming this is the year 1999 :P

You know the funny thing?

What they say about DiHydrogen Monoxide... IT'S ALL TRUE!

No, really. That's the point.

indeed, they just leave out other important facts like, youd die in a few days without it.

Some call Dihydrogen Monoxide the "Invisible Killer"

Dihydrogen Monoxide is linked to gun violence

Dihydrogen monoxide was found at every recent school shooting

Athletes use DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE, or DHMO, to enhance performance

Dihydrogen Monoxide has been found in our rivers, lakes, oceans and streams

Dihydrogen Monoxide is a major component of acid rain

Thousands die each year after inhaling dihydrogen monoxide

Dihydrogen Monoxide can be deadly

Ok, with the exeption of gun violence, the rest is in fact quite true...

actually, i think you'll find that when swabbing for residue on a suspects hand there is a large component of DHMO in the sample. it is usually also in the killers body as well.

Good point. It is highly addictive, and the withdrawl symptoms are fatal.

Yeah but correlation isn't the same as causation...
